Somewhere in a demon infested forest.  Yes, I know how little that narrows it down. And I don't really care.

A cloacked figure was flying through the forest  and followed a blood trail. After a while they found a heavily injured winged human like creature with long orange hair and a torn orange dress. A few nearby demons noticed the levitating creature and ran away in fear. The creature took a close look at the injured person. "Oh my, I'm not a medic but you're definetly not going to survive that sweetheart."  The cloacked figure was taken by surprise when they got an answer. "Are you making fun of me or what?"  "Who, me? Oh, no sweety. Just stating the obvious. What brings someone like you to such a dangerous place? Only a human would be stupid enough to do that. You however are one of the fairy sisters."  "And, what if I was one of them? It doesn't matter anyways. Just let me die in peace." The cloacked figure shook their head. "Now, now. You were eager to prove something to your family. Where is that fighting spirit now? Where is your motivation?" The fairy turned away from the figure and muttered something to themself. "You're running out of time so let's just get to the point. Do you want to die or remain in this world as a Specter? You know, these ghost like creatures with a physical form."
The fairy thought about it for a second before giving a clear answer. "Yes. But how are you going to do that."  "Ever heard of spirit rings?" A small ring levitatet in front of the fairy and they grabbed it, which caused the ring to glow in a bright orange for a few seconds before it dropped to the ground and was immediatelypickedup by the fairy. The body of the fairy had turned into a translucid orange ghost like creature.

Kyle was woken up by Echo running into a wall.  "Echo, what the hell are you doing?"  "Promise me to not get mad. Alright?"  Kyle gave the friendly toaster a confused look before nooding.  Echo stepped to the side and revealed an electric outlet which was leaking water.  "Echo, how in the name of Sparda did you do that? And how did you manifest yourself?" Griffon broke through the door and threw a letter right in front of Kyle before vanishing into thin air. The Demon Hunter picked it up and read it and quickly grabbed his coat and Dr. Faust and ran to the van, followed by a confused Echo. "Was the letter  that important?" "Yes, Nelo is waiting at the spaceship launch site. We're going to space."

They arrived after aproximately twelve minutes. Nelo was already waiting at the gate. "There is no time for chit chat, follow me." He opened a portal and walked through it followed by Kyle and Echo. When they exited the portal they stood in a big open area, similar to a reception of a cruise ship but much bigger. They were approached by a white protogen in a lab coat and two comically large glasses. "Please excuse the delay Professor Deta. A certain toaster turned an electric outlet into a water paper and fried our phones and alarm clocks."  The Professor gave them an understanding nood and lead the three to the main control bridge of the ship. "I'm glad you came. And before I forget it, just call me Dottie. We are in a serious danger. Our creators and former owners managed to detected one of our ships and destroyed it.  The worst part is that they send several highly advanced creatures, far more advanced than us protogens as a kill squad." Suddenly all of the monitors on the bridge showed a static screen for a short moment before showing a somewhat ancient cloacked figure. "You really thought you could escape from our control? No realm will keep you save. Surrender or die. Make your choice." A massive ship covered in guns appeared in front of the shaceship and prepared to attack. The figure on the screen was a bit annoyed. "Your answer. I don'thave all da-" They were cut off by a katana being stabbed right through their chest.  Nelo recognized the sword almost instantly.  "The yamato!" The figure dropped to the ground and revealed that the wielder was no other than Vergil. Dante could be seen in the background eating a slice of pizza.  "Dante! Take this serious for once." He opened a portal and pushed Dante through it and he appeared right next to Kyle and Nelo. "Hey kid. Still using that hat?  Stylisch as always. Vergil and I are on our way to help Nero with a demon infestation in Fortuna and decided to say hi before we do so. It'll take a while until the job is done." Vergil teleportet on top of the window of the bridge and was in his Sin Devil Trigger form and slowly raised his blade and performed a slash in direction of the armed ship and sheated his sword, causing the entire ship to be cut in half. After that he teleportet right next to Dante, deactivated his Sin Devil Trigger, fixed the zipper of his vest and sat down on a white plastic chair. "Did you really have to bring the chair?"  "Yes Dante, it motivates me. Kyle, do you know a certain Joeline Joemoon?  They mentioned you, this spaceship and power." Kyle shook his head.  "Well, you will meet them soon enough.  They are eager to become stronger. Yet they are far to weak to match the strenght of a Son of  Sparda. But I think the Grandson of Sparda should be a worthy oponent for them. Goodbye for now. And remember to stay motivated." He opened another portal and walked through it followed by Dante. Dottie was visibly confused. "Who was that and how did he manage to cut that ship in half?" Nelo prepared to explain yet again who Vergil was and what he is capable of. "That was Vergil,  the legendary Darkslayer. A Son of Sparda. And he used the yamato,  a powerful katana to cut the ship in half. And he's the father of Kyle and me. Now, enough of that. We have to prepare for the arrival of this kill squad. Kyle, you should explore the ship and become familiar with the layout. I'll help them with the preparations."  Kyle nooded and left the bridge and returned to the looby where he looked for a map. He was still thinking about the strange dream and didn't pay attention to his surroundings  and found himself in front of the ships casino and took a look at a map right next to it. "Echo, how the heck did we walk down three staircases without noticing?" Echo simply shrugged and dematerialized. "You know, you could just speak to me directly instead of using telepathy. ..... Whatever." Echo materialized and walked into the casino followed by Kyle. It was completely empty with the exception of a light blue protogen and humanoid creature with a dark blue zip-up hoodie, which covered their hair and a glove that looked quite similar to the devil breaker Punchline. And they carried a double helix sword on their back and had a black cat mask with a few white spots in the shape of a mustache.  Despite wearing a mask, the person was able to play a relaxing melody on a blue ocarina.

I'm too lazy to describe the toaster

I'm too lazy to describe the toaster. Just take a look at the picture.

The protogen was sitting half asleep at a poker table and listened to the melody. The person stopped playing as soon as they noticed the demon hunter causing the protogen to look a bit sad. "Sol, why did you stop?" Sol turned around and looked at the two for a few seconds before looking at the still half asleep protogen.  "Azure, you forgot to lock the door.  Again." He returned his attention to the two. "Hi, I'm Sol and that sleepy toaster is Azure.  I don't think we've met before. "  "I'm,  Kyle Sparda and this spectral proto is Echo."  Azure finally opened his eyes and took a look at a clipboard. "I suppose Vergil already mentioned Joeline. She is waiting on the Weather Deck." He turned back to Sol.  "Please, continue." After Echo and Kyle left the room he continued to play on the ocarina.  The two demon hunters walked to a nearby elevator and reached the Weathter Deck in no time. In front of the elevator was some sort of training arena. In the middle of the arena was a person with long blonde hair, a green tunic  and green cap. They turned around and noticed Kyle and Echo.  "I assume you are Kyle?" He nooded.  "Well, it's an honor to meet you. I'm Joeline Joemoon. The guy in blue probaply told you everything."  Kyle nooded again. "Then, shall we begin?" "Sure. A little workout is always good." He entered the arena and the two got ready but before they could begin the ship made a sudden turn and a alarm gave instructions. The three returned to the bridge as fast as they could. When they arrived they found Nelo, Dottie, Sol and Azure. A few seconds later, a enourmous dark purple worm with several glowing spots and grey blade like extensions on it's armored body and a terrifying mouth with razor sharp teeth and some sort of blades at the size of it's head next to it's mouth appeared out of a dimensional rift and was flying towards the spaceship at a high speed. Sol was frozen in fear and Azure violently shook him while yelling something. "Quick, the Hymn of Time!" Before anyone could even understand what happened time itself seemed to stop and a clocks moved in a circle around the group accompanied by a slightly odd melodie and seconds later, everything   was covered in bright light preventing everything and everyone from seeing anything.
