The cyber devil

Kyle rushed into the Demons Never Cry shop where Nelo was getting ready to leave. "Nelo, I need your help! It's Echo, the golden orb didn't work and now he's-" "Calm down! I'll see what I can do." Kyle layed Echo on the table and Nelo began to heal him with his demonic energy. "Kyle, do me a favor and take care of a demon infestation. The Document is on the desk." Kyle took the documents and headed to the van. Protato entered the shop and was greeted by Nelo. "Hello. I suppose you know Echo?" He nooded and sat down next to Echo eith a worried expression. "Don't worry, he'll survive it. To be honest, I thought cyborgs were more resistent to injuries." "First of all, he's a Prototype Protogen. Second, he is less resistent than others given the fact that his body is only to 10% cybernetical. But where are my manners. I'm Protato. You must be Nelo." The devil nooded and the two waited for a while until Kyle returned. Echo's injuries healed a bit but he was still heavily injured but would wake up sooner or later. Nelo abd Kyle went to another room to talk in private.

About 20 minutes later

I opened my eyes and was greeted by Protato. He explained to me that I almost died on the way back and that Nelo healed my injuries once again. However, this time it was still painful to move and I couldn't really walk. I asked Protato to help me get to Kyle and he agreed. When we arrived at the door we could hear Nelo and Kyle talk about what happened and decided to wait.

"Kyle, what exactly caused his injuries? They were partially internal." "This group. They did it again. I don't know how they returned in the first place." "Wait you're telling me they-" "Yes. They did. Almost killed him too." "That's not good. Not good at all. Healing his bruises doesn't work anymore. Internal injuries too. I think his body reached the limit of demonic energy." "What!? You're telling me you can't help him?" "Sadly, yes. He'll probaply die in nine to ten hours."

I lost my balance and Protato tripped and pushed the door open. I looked at the two. "I'm going to die!?" Kyle helped me up and hugged me, persumably in an attempt to calm me down. "Don't worry, well find a way. Right, Nelo?" Nelo walked to a sword with a skull shaped hilt which was hanging on the wall. "If he becomes a devil, then and only then he'll be able to survive without using a ton of golden orbs within a day." He turned around to Echo. "Do you wish to become a devil in order to survive?" "I'd do anything." He took the sword from the wall. "You have to temporaryly fuse with a devil, for example Kyle. Are you okay with that and who do you want to be fused with? You'll keep all of your memories and that." I looked Kyle in the eyes. "I would fuse with you if that's okay for you." He silently aggreed and I hugged him thighter. I felt the sword pierce through me and my mind began to drift off for a second.

Echo and Kyle were surroundedy by a cloud of purple fog and when it disappeared only Kyle was left. His hair was now green and his coat was now black with three separated coat tails and a neon green cyber pattern and fur in it. "I know that it's not the best time but you have to bring something to the Paratech Tower. Father allowed them to make a copy of Yamato and keep said copy. Obviously, the company owes him a big favor and our uncle send us the Devil Arm Lucifer. He said we should use it to upgraded your Proto friends armor with wings. And take Protato with you. He might know how the Murasama got stolen in the first place." He gave Kyle the devil arm Lucifer, a silver skull shaped backplate with two wing shaped sheats. He was debating if he should try the Devil Arm out but someone with a black coat and a tattered grey hooded coat over it walked into the shop. "Make haste, son." And warped out of the building. Kyle followed him and a few seconds later they were on the highway. Protato was driving while the two others sat in the back. The hooded guy was sitting on a white plastic chair had removed the tattered coat and revealed a black coat with a serpentine pattern and white slicked back hair.
