Liz's P.O.V

Each time I look at Meliodas...why does my heart race? This feeling...what is it? "Hey Liz~ The bell rang already, it's time for lunch!" Meliodas chuckled, hearing his voice snapped me back to reality. "Tch, I-I knew that already!" I huffed, standing from my assigned seat beside Meliodas as we walked together to our usual meeting place. "About time you guys got here!" Wandle rolled his eyes playfully, already sitting at our table with food in his mouth. "Don't talk with your mouth full idiot!" I shouted, flicking his forehead as I sat across from him with Meliodas beside me. Even now just being this close to him...I feel all warm inside. "Sorry mom~" Wandle teased, bursting into a fit of laughter as he continued to eat his lunch. "So how was class with Ms. Merlin?" Meliodas asked him, eating my lunch as I heard how she was tough on the class today...though that didn't really bother me, how can I feel so happy being next to Meliodas? I've known him since the beginning of first year and it was already our last year in high school, I didn't feel this way then so why now? "Liz are you okay?" I turned my head and noticed the concerned look in Meliodas' eyes, and...something else? "I-I'm fine idiot! Geez.." I looked away, my face completely red just from the sound of his voice. "I-I gotta go...!" I blurt out, leaving the rest of my lunch behind as I ran off...ignoring the sound of Meliodas' voice. These emotions are overwhelming! Why...? Why him!? As I got to the back of the school I sat down, hiding my face against my legs once I moved them closer. I don't know what this feeling is...it's confusing! "Something wrong with you red~?" I look up to see Ban, one of Meliodas' dear friends. "Look...what I say stays between us got it?" I spoke firmly, hoping he wouldn't tell Meliodas anything.. "I maybe greedy but I'm not a snitch red~ Talk to me!" Ban laughed, leaning against the wall beside me. Well...here goes nothing I guess. "Everytime I'm around Meliodas...my heart races. My face turns red too! I even get happy just sitting close to him or hearing his voice...is this what friends are supposed to feel? I don't know...!" I cover my face, my face flushed as I thought about Meliodas' smile...and how beautiful his eyes are. "That's easy Liz~ You like him~!" I let out a soft gasp hearing his words...like? Is that what this is? I...like Meliodas? "Like...?" I whisper, looking ahead with a smile on my face...so all this time I had a crush on Meliodas, I like him!

Zaneri's P.O.V

I saw Liz together with Ban...even if I could tell she liked Meliodas I had to make him think she wouldn't ever like him. I can't...not when I care about Meliodas more than her! "Hey Meliodas...can we talk?" I spoke softly, relieved I was able to get him away from Wandle. Now all I gotta do is get him to see Liz with Ban! "So what's up Zaneri~?" Meliodas smiled at me...even if I knew it was normal for him it made me happy. "Do you know if...Liz likes Ban?" I asked, noticing a change in him...as if hearing those words upset him. "Hm~ Why do you say that?" He was acting like he doesn't care...could he really like Liz? "Well...I saw them together! If she really does like Ban then let's support them! For Liz's sake.." I could make Meliodas happier than she ever could so why...why does he look as if he hates the idea of Liz being with Ban? Once we got to Liz and Ban...I knew this would be enough for Meliodas to turn to me, not her. "See? Let's support them okay?" I spoke kindly, but what happened next...was something I never expected.

Liz's P.O.V

"Meliodas!!" I noticed Zaneri was trying to call Meliodas to stop him, gasping as he grabbed my wrist to guide me away. I hoped...that with time I could finally tell Meliodas how I feel. "Meliodas! What are you doing?!" I shout, panting out of breath once we reached a secluded area of the school. "Sorry...I couldn't help myself. I just have to know.." Meliodas whispered, looking into my eyes as he took a step closer to me. Why do his eyes look like that..? "Do you...love Ban?" He asked, my face slightly red as I look at him...I feel happy that I finally understand my feelings, but why does Meliodas look so troubled? "This feeling...what I feel for Ban isn't love! Even if he makes me laugh and hangs out with me...no, this emotion isn't love. I see that idiot as a brother!" I'm sure of it now...no one else can make my heart flutter like Meliodas can. "I see.." Meliodas suddenly crouched down, hiding his face from me."M-Melio-?" "Can you turn away for a bit..? I'm really embarrassed right now!" Meliodas wasn't acting like how he usually does...even his ears are red! This isn't like him at all.. "Did I say something wrong?" I asked with a confused look on my face, being with him like this...I feel so happy. "It's nothing~ Though.." He finally began to stand again, looking up at me with a smile on his face. "Why don't we go out~?" Meliodas chuckled, although those words filled me with such joy...there's no way he actually meant it. "D-Don't be stupid! Why would I be with someone like you?" I blurt out, looking to the side just to hide my red face. "Okay.." I quickly looked back to see Meliodas walking away, however I caught a glimpse of his eyes...why did he look hurt? "Meliodas! W-Wait...!!" I called back but he didn't listen...leaving me alone with my thoughts. Does he not like me now..?

BELL RINGS

It's time for class...but how can I go after that? I need to see him...I have to tell the idiot how I feel! This is proof that things can't go on like this unless I tell him...it has to be today! "Meliodas..." I whisper to myself, staying in my spot till school was let out...I can't face anyone, not yet. After wait for what seemed like ages...class finally let out, I noticed everyone was already beginning to leave, now's my chance! "Liz?! Wait! Where are you going!?" Wandle gasped in shock, seeing me run past him with determination in my eyes. "There's something I have to do!" I shout with a smile as I continued to run back to class...I have to see him. My feelings...please, reach him! "Wandle? Did you forget something?" I heard Meliodas' voice from inside the classroom, I had yet to go inside...my face flushed at the thought of seeing him. "Liz..?" I looked through the window of the door, noticing that Meliodas realized it was me here. "I came here b-because...there is something I have to tell you!" I shouted, leaning my head against the door. My face was so red...how can I look him in the eye like this? "Stay right there...and listen to me idiot." I mutter softly, tightening my grip on the door...can I really do this? "I was the outcast for so long...till you came up to me and talked to me like how you would with your other friends. Y-You...changed my perspective on life! Thank you for smiling at me...thank you for laughing with me, thank you...for being my friend." I felt tears falling from my eyes...no, I can't cry now. I have to tell him...he needs to know how I feel! "Liz-" "I like you!" I blurted out, my face even more flushed as I finally admitted how I felt about him. "I like you! I like you...I like you so much!" I can't even explain these feelings...the emotions I feel can't even be put into words, I just like him...so much. I could hear his footsteps getting closer- No! He's trying to open the door?! "Wait-! Don't o-open the door! R-Right now I'm-!" I let out a low gasp as he forced the door open, he could see how red my face was. "Meli-" I watched as he grabbed my wrist, taking me inside the classroom and shutting the door. "Liz..." He whispered, looking up at me with a light blush on his cheeks. "Bend down a bit will you?" He huffed, bringing a smile to my face at his cute expressions. "What for-? Mmph!" Once I bent down to his level our lips met...I wish this moment would last forever. Once he broke the kiss I stood at my normal height, his eyes...filled with love. "My feelings...they finally reached you~" Meliodas chuckled, his hands finding their way to my chest. "I-Idiot!!" I shouted, punching him away from me with my face still red. No matter what...I knew that I would always love this idiot.
