"Morning" (Y/n) called happily to Tom who wiped his mouth from drinking the water as some of it had dripped down his chin "How are you?" She asked with a smile as she came to a halt in front of the Blacksmith
"I'm good, thank you for checking (Y/n)" Tom smiled down at the female who grinned up at him "The job has been tough but nothing I can't handle — are you here for your new gloves?"
"I'm happy to hear" (Y/n) smiled at Tom who placed the cup down before turning around to pick something up from the counter "Did they arrive already?" She wondered while tilting her head
"They arrived yesterday with metal for the armor" Tom explained before a thin box was placed in front of the female who looked at it with curious eyes "You've been so much help to me and my daughter, this is the least I can do to repay your kindness" He explained while sliding the box towards the Apprentice
"You and Gwen are my friends" (Y/n) smiled up at the Blacksmith "I don't need you to repay the kindness" She spoke while taking something out of her messenger bag "Here, this should be enough," She said while offering him a small bag with a few golden coins
"I can't take this" Tom leaned away from the counter and shook his head at the bag of money "I got the gloves at a discount from a friend, this is too much money (Y/n)" He spoke softly at her making her chuckle
"I don't mind, it's just a few coins" (Y/n) slid the money towards the man who stared at her "This is my money to spend, buy yourself and Gwen something nice with it. I heard there is a new shop in town that sells high-quality fabricks" (Y/n) smiled happily "Maybe take her there and buy her something, or buy yourself some tasty food for your hard work"
"Thank you..." He whispered as he took the money

At the loud shout of her name (Y/n) flinched before turning around to see Gaius walking hurriedly towards her, grabbing her arm and dragging her off
"Hey!— Gaius, what's going on?" She looked at Gaius with a startled expression while he just dragged her away with Merlin trailing behind them
Along the way, Gaius had let go of her arm before picking up his pace and walking down the street making both (Y/n) and Merlin follow

You do know I can walk" Muttered the female as she looked at Gaius who was walking in front of the two teens
"I got a report from one of the guards," Gaius explained, he wasn't angry but he also didn't sound too happy
"What the..." Merlin's eyes widened as the three appeared in front of the lying body of a man who faced the ground "Is... Is he dead?"
