Hello! Two updates, two days in a row! Woot woot! This chapter didn't go at all as planned, but I promised an update and even though it's short, it's here! :p That father/daughter chat came out more of a spat, didn't it? :( Hmm... all is well everywhere else though, sort of..? No Ashley or Damien in this chapter, but there may be in chapter twelve!(: I'm trying to bring Darren and Charlotte back in :/ They're not around much.

Okay, now some SERIOUS QUESTIONS!!!!!!! (answer in comments please? c: )

1) Do you think I should add a cast?

2) If so, who do you favor for Alec? So far I have Nicholas Hoult, Kellin Quinn, and Logan Lerman.

3) And for Cadence? I have a lot for her, but I'm very, very open to other suggestions because I'm totally lost here :/ I've got Alona Tal, Alyson Michalka, Amber Heard, Jennifer Lawrence (as a blonde :p), Hayden Panettiere, and Leven Rambin.

4) Ya know what??? Here's just some other random ideas, so PRETTY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (with a cherry on top) comment!!!???<3 <3 <3

- Shiloh: Vanessa Hudgens, Nina Dobrev, Selena Gomez, or Debby Ryan

-Darren: Callan McAuliffe or Landon Liboiron

-Charlotte: Chloe Moretz or Maggie Grace

Chapter 11

My fingers entwined with Alec's, I let him drag me out of the car that was parked just behind my father's. I heard engines shutting off and the sound of heavy boots against the pavement behind us, letting me know that his friends were still there. I tried to put myself in my dad's shoes as we made our way to the door. He was just about to see his daughter come inside with some boy he'd never met holding her hand, and surrounded by some strange, petrifying biker dudes. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't think of a proper reaction. Maybe after the whole baby ordeal, nothing will surprise him anymore.

I saw the twins peering through the front window and Jake ripped the door open just as we reached the welcome sign. "Cadie! Alec! What's up.." his voice trailed and all excitement was replaced by him swallowing hard at the sight of Tank and the gang. Instead of saying anything else or waiting for us to answer, he pulled the door open the rest of the way and allowed us all inside.

"Jake, is that Cadie?" I heard Tori call from the living room over Dashiell's shrieks. In reply, everyone followed the shrill sounds to meet her. Immediately, I went to take the baby from her, but Alec held me back and took him instead, rocking him soothingly. When I frowned at him in confusion, he simply jerked his head in the direction of another man wavering nearby - my dad.

"Uhm, who are these gentlemen?" Tori asked with as much politeness as she could muster up in the moment.

"Well-" Alec and I both started, but Tank put his hand up to interrupt.

"Pleasure to meet you, miss. I'm Tank, and these fellers are Paul, Slider, Moose, and Darryl." He gestured with his thumb to each of the guys. "Alec and Cadie were having dinner with us and they had just finished explaining that this lil guy," he gestured to Dash, "Is our new nephew." He smiled and his eyes were bright. My father shifted his weight around uncomfortably whilst Tori introduced herself. I stepped away from the group when Paul and Moose were being attacked by Jake and Leo's action figures. Alec spotted me and gave me an encouraging smile, which boosted my confidence a bit.

"Hey, dad." I said quietly. He looked up from his intense staring match with the floor and met my eyes.

"Hey, kiddo. Mind if we talk?" I shook my head no and we made our way outside in silence. The air was suddenly chilly and I pulled my sweater to me tighter. "I've wanted to come see you, but now I have no idea what to say." He let out with a humorless chuckle.
