This one's a disappointing filler, but tomorrow I'll be uploading chapter 11(; and it won't be a filler :D sorry to disappoint tonight .-. But I'm sleepy. Here's where I've been the last however long: Suffering writer's block, doing homework, at practices, school, competing, having my mom borrow my computer for her schooling, and at my grandma's. So sorry again guys :/ I hope you like Tank, he's my favorite :3 Vote, Comment, Fan.

Chapter 10

"Ready for this?" I asked Shiloh as I parked my car in the school lot. I was going to ride with Alec, but I had to drop Dash off with Tori and pick up Shy, and the bum wouldn't get out of bed.

"Never." She grinned and we clambered out of the car, shutting and locking the doors.

We walked into the school building and straight to my locker, where I began to re-organize my stuff. Shiloh's locker was one away from mine, and she did the same. The students suddenly parted like the red sea and we turned to see Alec walking toward us. He wore that signature smirk of his and his trademark leather jacket. People began to whisper when he pulled me to him. "Good morning, gorgeous." He grinned and I breathed in his intoxicating scent. "Mornin', Shiloh." He nodded once at her and she did the same. It was obvious she still wasn't fond of him.

"I promised Darren I'd help him with his Biology homework this morning before class, I'll see you in second hour." she waved at me and took off in the direction of the quad.

"He needs to grow a pair and ask her out." Alec muttered and I pushed him playfully.

"Don't be mean, he's shy." I shook my head.

"Alright, alright." He caved. I took his hand and he kissed the top of mine.

"Oh, how sweet. Don't go cold turkey love-sap on these guys, they'll have a heart attack." I sniggered. Sure enough, I saw a few jaws drop from a group of freshman girls. You know, the kind who thinks his mysterious behavior is to die for.

"Imagine if they knew we lived together with a son" he whispered in my ear.

"Well, one semester left and we'll have no one to hide it from."

"Who said anything about hiding it?" he asked.

"Alec, they'll all know that the baby isn't mine, I was never pregnant. And they'll know the baby isn't yours, because, let's face it, they would've known a long time ago."

He grimaced. "Okay, that's true. Dash will be our little secret then." he leaned down and pressed his lips lightly against mine. "and people are really bad about whispering..." I listened in for a minute too.

"When did that happen?!"

"I've never even seen them talk!"

"Cadence Mathis and Alec Paige?!"

"What planet are we on?!"

"Wait, has Alec even had an official girlfriend??"

"She's probably just his flavor of the week." Okay, that one stung.

Alec kissed me again, harder but shorter - to keep it PG. He pulled me tighter and I nuzzled into his warm chest.

"Oh shut up! Don't you see the way they look at each other?" a romance-addicted theater kid snapped at a couple of her friends. I felt Alec let out a chuckle and I grinned, becoming embarrassed over the attention.
