A muffled sob reverberated in my ears.
When I walked towards the sound - the desolate street - I spotted a figure quivering, shaking, and then violently trembling.

With a thudding heart, I placed my hand on its shoulder.

"Why are you crying?" What left my lips was no more than a whisper effecting the person's trembling to cease.

"Who are you?" I enquired.

"A forgotten melody in the symphony of your life!" Cocking his head, the shadow replied in a sibilant voice.

(A/N: without moving forward, tell me in comments who is it?)

When my gaze cast upon his familiar brown orbs, button nose, and disheveled curly beard, I screamed and screamed releasing my pent-up emotions until my voice cracked.

"You!"

The destroyer of my life, the whisper of my soul's damage, the thief of my childhood, the cause of my shattered heart was there, in a vulnerable state, before me.

He peered at me with his coffee gaze glistening with crocodile tears. "Princess! I am sorry, princess!"

"Don't!" I instinctively backed up raising my hand, as he advanced towards me.

"Haven't you recognized me? Your baba, your superhero?" His face grew pale.

I laughed mirthlessly with a tinge of bitterness and desolation.
"Don't be a fool, ba..father dear. Both of us know you were always a villain, a merciless villain, a traitor, and most of all, a liar!"

"Juveria beta, please trust me." The plea in his tone tugged at my heart.

I looked away, blinking the tears, unable to bear the burden. "Pardon, you have lost your credibility. Likewise your words have become devoid of any meaning."

"Don't chase the worldly pleasure, princess. Our eternal enemy: Shaytan is after you."

"Oooh. Is that so? Then Shaytan must have been after you when you took advantage of me, my innocence, my love. Baba Jaani?"

"Let me explain." He reached out a trembling hand and I recoiled abruptly, hissing:
"Don't touch me."

His hand fell in defeat. But I didn't let him speak.
"Tell me, you didn't lie." - a flicker of hope sparked within me but died instantly as I gazed at his ashen features. Still I plead - "Come on, admit it, Baba you weren't a liar."
