It took weeks, but finally Nathan was able to speak to the man. Every day he brought the man food, and slowly the man regained enough strength to talk and move.

The man looked to be around his mid 40s. He had green eyes, long brown hair, and burns across his body.

"How are you?" Nathan asked. He asked that same question every day. However today he got a response.
"Good thanks to you," the man replied. Nathan jumped back, surprised the man could speak.
"How are you alive, what is your name, who are you??" Nathan asked.

"My name is Elz, and I do not know who I am or how I live." He replied. "All I know is that I am of magical descent making me some sort of mage."
"Do you have magic?" Nathan wondered.
"Yes, but I have not unlocked all of my powers though." Elz replied. They went back and forth, Nathan asking questions and Elz answering the best he could.

Eventually Nathan asked the big question: "what are your magical abilities?"
"I can unlock any door, and float through walls", Elz answered. This was huge news for Nathan as it ment he could go through the door after months of waiting to.

Nathan and Elz went back up and into the town. They agreed that after one more week for Elz to get ready, they would go through the door and find out what's waiting for them on the other side. Nathan thought Elz ment eating more and letting himself heal more. Instead Elz started to train. He ran laps did exersize routines and practiced his magic playing tag and other games where phasing through walls yould help. Soon the week was up, and they agreed that they were ready to go.

Nathan brought Elz back through the village to the chapel and to the door. Elz concentrated and a green ish light cam out from his hand and into the door. The door pulsed with green energy and opened. Nathan went through the door and Elz followed. They found themselves in a room with a stone table in the middle and another door at the end. This room was much smaller only being able to fit maybe 5 people not counting whatever or whoever went on the table.

Nathan noticed Elz had gone silent.
"Is everything alright Elz?" Nathan asked.
"No. This is a place I do not fondly remember," Elz said, lowering his voice, "this is the sacrifice chamber."
"Sacrifice chamber?!" Nathan shouted.
"I might tell you later," Elz said mysteriously.

They continued onward and through the door and found themselves at the top of a staircase, leading down for what looked like forever. Heading down the heard bats and mice scurrying around somewhere above. Nathan wondered if there was another secret room that they missed. At the end of the staircase they found a massive chamber, with caves branching out in all directions. They had made it to what people in the village thought was myth, and only few people knew to be real. They made it to the king's tomb.
