When Cassie first met [name] she wasn't sure what to think of him. Of course she was star struck right away and attracted to him but when it came to what he wanted with her, she was hesitant.
Was he another guy that just wanted her for her body and would throw her away when he was done?
He had told her to her face that it wasn't true and he wanted her for more then that but after her past experiences she didn't know if she could believe him. Even if she really wanted to.
They were at his house on his bed and making out. She wasn't fully into it and kept zoning out as her thoughts overtook her.
[name] pulled away from her when he realised. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She lied and he just tiled his head at her.
"You really expect me to believe that?"
She sighed and looked away from him. "Seriously, I'm just being stupid."
He looked at her softly. "Cass, come on. You can tell me."
She ran her hand up his back. "I was just - I was wondering if maybe you'd want to meet my Mum... we've been together for a while now and I think it's time but if you don't want to that's understandable. I won't be mad if you don't want to - "
"Cassie." He cut her off. "I'd love to meet your Mum. You're right. It's time."
She looked a little surprised that he agreed. If he just wanted her for her body would he have agreed to meet her Mum? "Great!"

"Please don't say embarrassing." Cassie pleaded towards Suzie. "I don't want you to scare him off."
"Oh, I'm not gonna scare him off." Suzie waved her hand. "And if he does get scared off, then he's not the one for you." She pat her cheek as she walked past.
Cassie frowned.
There was a knock on the door and she was quick to run to it, opening it to see [name]. "Hello, beautiful." He greeted.
She giggled and pulled him into a hug before placing a quick kiss on his lips. "You came."
"You sound surprised. Did you not expect me to?" He put his hands on her hips.
The truth was, no, she hadn't expected him to come. She had thought he had just agreed to get her off his back and then he would ditch and he would break up with her. Clearly, she didn't have much faith.
"There you are." Suzie came from around the corner with a smirk. "It's good to finally meet the boy Cassie can't stop talking about."
Cassie blushed as [name] chuckled and stepped forward, holding out his hand. "I'm [name]. It's nice to meet you."
She shook his hand, glancing between him and Cassie. "Well, let's go eat."
As she walked away, Cassie grabbed [name]'s hand and pulled him back. "It's not to late to back out now if you want to."
"I'm here and I want to know your family. I'm serious about you - us." He interlocked their fingers. "So, I'm not backing out and neither are you." He began to pull her forward while sending her a smile.
She still couldn't believe she found a guy like this.
