101 AcWalking through the keep use to confuse her as a child, taking her hours to reach her destination without a guard who would usually guide her. As a child she couldn't help but runaway to explore the famed castle by herself, without the watchful eyes of a kings guard forever on her.
Now she misses the gaze, the feeling of being present, seen and heard. Walking with the crowd observing the many house colors most familiar to her after lessons with her maester. The gold and red of the Lannister's, blue and white for the Arryn's.
Shuffling around people instead of walking straight through them, because going through casts a spell of dizziness, it would also be quite rude. The halls of the old king were glorious, a different atmosphere to what she grew up with.
Walking into a new room with her hand raised in front of her eyes seemingly blinded shortly by the sun. " I don't get it, you'd think being a ghost would allow me a chance to at-least be unaffected by the sun". Shaking her head brushing off her disbelief . Stunned for a moment she can't help but to stop and stare.
The feeling of heat spreading over her body doesn't help the pressure building in her eyes. If anyone in the room could actually see her they would think her mad. Just stopping in the middle of the room staring of at the young lady with tears building in her eyes.
Slowly she started to make her way the the stairs passing by the old king straight to the girl directly behind his chaise. "White was always your color"blinking furiously, while shaking out her hands, she laughs. " I was always so jealous of how you could walk into a room and everyone would turn just to get a glimpse". Still feeling the heat of her emotions, starting to fan herself . Taking in a deep breath of air just to pus it all out.
" I think I've been here and a lone for far too long, I'm about to go mad". Staring up into the ceiling hoping whoever sent her there was listening. " Stranger" she shouts "Balerion" dropping to her knees calling out to the two gods of death. "Why am I here, what should I do, if anything at all please". Now shouting to the heavens hoping that they would answer or anyone at all for that matter.
Turning around in a flash she shoots up, walking as fast as she could up to the girl while reaching out to grasp her hand only for it to pass through. A devasted look passes on her face. Biting her lips to the point of breaking skin she grits out. " m- mother please" her breath hitches as her vision starts to get blurry " I don't know what to do without you being by my side" a tight feeling makes it's way up her throat as the person she calls mother doesn't even glance at her.Ragged breathing was all she could do the inability to do anything or talk to anyone was taking it's toll. Her body felt like what she assumed those in old valyria felt when the doom happened, constant shaking of her body feeing the heat of her blood running through her body making its way up to her face. Darkness started to cloud her visions as her breathing increased, grasping onto the chaise infront of her to keep balance making sure she wouldn't fall.
"Calm down" hushed whispers from besides brings some relief. Nodding her head slowly doing as her mother said while chanting those words like a mantra "calm down, calm down, calm down". Feeling the cold air brush on her face causing her tears to sting on her hot skin wipes them of with the mission to calm down.
Pulling herself up watching her aunt Rhaenys talk to her mother. " how am I to calm down when I feel your panic coming of you in waves and straight onto me no less". Furrowing her brow creating lines to show her confusion " I'm not nervous, I know exactly how this is going to play out I just want you to be calm and think about how life would be much easier as a lady rather than the queen". Shaking out a deep sigh Rhaenys looks as if she's already accepted the fact that it was very unlikely for her to be named the heir and next queen of the seven kingdoms during this great council.
Daenara turned fully to her sister and good brother Corlys, eyes flirting back and forth to the both of them, casually glancing back at her male cousins Visery and once at the crowd waiting for the final decision and smiled so big her teeth peaked through but didn't travel up to her eyes "He is to be the king, this has just been a farce a simple curtesy for the honor of our father."
