Crystals POV
"Your method is flawed Crystal. If you keep doing it, it could very well put you and Jace in danger" Rupert said. "But I cant just come out and say it! I'm too scared to say it out loud" I said. "You don't have much of a choice Crystal. If you're gonna do it, then you have to say it" he said. I put my hands on my head and took a deep breath. "I cant" I huffed. "Crystal, think of it this way. If you cant admit what you are, but continue to do what you're doing with Jace, what will it seem like to her?" He asked. "I don't understand" I said, looking confused. "It'll look like you're using her for publicity. Like you want the attention. Or, it'll look like you're a scaredy cat who doesn't deserve her girlfriend who is proud to be who she is" he said. "That second one is definitely true" I sighed. "If she can be proud, then so can you" he said. "Ok but she doesn't have screaming fans that will turn on her if she says one wrong thing" I said. He sighed. "That doesn't matter. This is about you. Not the people" he said. I looked down. "Look, if you don't make up your mind soon, then Ill have to give you more appearances with Bryan" he said. I groaned. Bryans cool, but I hate holding his clammy hand. "Ill think about it" I told him.

"What are you gonna do?" Jace asked. "I don't know." I said. "What you said about having the fans isn't exactly true. I do have fans" she said. "The Wolf has fans." I corrected her. "Exactly. My fans know I'm gay. I don't let them touch me though" she said. "But you don't get any hatred" I said. She laughed. "Seriously? Yes I do!" She exclaimed. She pulled up some posts on Instagram. I scrolled through them. This one stood out though. A woman with a sign that says try all you want but being a hero cant make up for your sins. "That's terrible. How do you get past it?" I asked. She pulled up other posts. "Because I just focus on the other side" she said. I scrolled through the people who love her. The ones that cosplay as her and wear shirts with her infamous blue paw print on them. Some of them are holding pride flags. I smiled. "I actually gained more fans when I came out to the public" she said. "Thanks Jace" I said. She smiled. "Of course" she smiled.

Jaces POV
"What the hell happened?" I asked. Ruff picked up a piece of glass. "We're too late. That's what happened" she said, dropping it. The Magician attacked again. "Where are the police?" I asked. "I don't know. They should be here already" she said. "They wont be coming" we heard. We turned to the doorway. The Mad Magician was leaning on the door frame with an evil smirk. I looked her up and down. She's actually kinda hot. "What are you doing here?" Ruff snapped. "Giving an explanation." She said. We raised an eyebrow. "Your suspicion is correct. I am going after homophobes. Frankly because I'm sick and tired of the emotional and mental damage that they do to the gays. Not to mention the physical ones" she said. "So... you're trying to stop pain... by causing pain?" I asked. "Violence only listens to violence." She said. "You cant fight fire with fire" Ruff crossed her arms. "Oh but I can" she laughed. "Why are you telling us this?" I asked. "Because I'm bored, and I wanna have some fun" she said. She quickly flew away. "Oh fuck no. We're not losing her again!" Ruff said. Ruff pressed a button on her watch and dragged me outside. A red dirt bike drove up and stopped. It has a red paw print on the side of it. No ones on it. "What is that?" I asked. "My Bark Bike. Now get on." She said, tossing me some goggles. I put them on and got on behind her. "Watch your tail" she said. She took off and I held onto her for dear life.

The bike zoomed through traffic after the Mad Magician. We're gaining on her. I narrowed my eyes at her. Her magic is red. She's not flying or running. She's on a platform like the one Ruff had when I met her. She cant fly. That's useful information. I smirked. "Ruff! She cant fly. Knock her off balance!" I yelled. Ruff didn't respond but a ray gun popped out of the bike and was in my grasp. "Oh" I said in shock. "Super hero's aren't allowed to use guns" I said. "Shut up and shoot!" Ruff snapped. I shot the gun and a magic burst shot out. I breathed out relieved. We're not allowed to use bullets, only magic. I kept shooting at her but missed every time. "Rapid fire Wolf!" Ruff yelled. "I cant! It'll risk hitting a citizen!" I said. She groaned. The Mad Magician flew upwards. I shot at her but still missed. "She's too far!" I yelled. "Hold on" Ruff said. She drove straight towards the building in front of us. I thought she was gonna hit it but the bike suddenly jumped up. The tires glowed red and we became vertical as the bike stuck to the wall and she drove up it. "Hold on tight!" She yelled. I gripped the gun and rapidly fired at the Mad Magician. She's quick and she wont stop going up. I focused as hard as I could. "Hurry up! We're almost to the top!" Ruff yelled. My hands shook as I fired my last shot. The Mad Magician spun off the platform and fell onto the roof. The bike got to the roof and came to a screeching halt. "She's gone already?!" Ruff threw down her goggles. "Calm down Ranger" I said. I got off the bike and bent down to examine the smoke dust. "She always disappears in a puff of smoke. She must have teleported somewhere" I said. "Or gone invisible" Ruff said. "If she went invisible we would see footsteps in the dust" I said. I brushed my hand over the dust. I hit something and picked it up. I dusted it off. Its a ring. "Ruff look." I said. She took the ring. "A golden ring? At least she's got good accessories. Its contaminated though. We wont get any finger prints from it" she said. "But we have a clue. We can still check" I said. "Yeah, and we got a hit on her. Learned she cant fly. That's important" she said. "We did good today. Also, don't yell at me while I have a magic blaster. That was really stressful" I said. "Sorry" she laughed. We high fived. "See ya" she said, getting back on her bike.
