The ride to the airport is quiet as Tae perches on my lap and JJ sleeps. "Thank you, Kookie." His voice is raspy and a bit scratchy. It's been quite an active day and he's exhausted. A kiss to the top of his soft silky dark brown loose waves is all the communication that is required.

As the airplane taxis down the runway, Tae and I sit and recline in our comfy seats.

"Kookie, I'm beyond happy. What a wonderful surprise. You got everyone there and the proposal was so beautiful. I just wanted to enjoy it longer. But to tell the truth," he sighs, "no amount time would have been enough." I nod.

"Babe it was short, but we had our moment." I take Tae's right hand and kiss it softly just above his ring.

"Yeah, we had our moment, that was until it got puked on." Tae rolls his eyes.

"Don't tell me you've never been puked on." Tae shakes his head. "In college it was pretty frequent, however, I was the one doing the puking, mostly on shoes."

"Uh, thanks for sharing that. I feel much better that I've never puked on others. Yuck." We both let out a spirited laugh.

"How do you like your ring, darling?" He reaches up and turns on the overhead lighting, smiles, and sighs audibly.

"Kookie, it's perfect. I've been constantly admiring it. How did you know this was perfect for me?"

"Well, I had some help from Lisa and Jimin." As his happy face is transformed into sadness, I offer him a stowaway piece of tissue I have in my pocket.

"Oh Kookie, I love you."

"I love you too, baby. Oh yeah, your dad left me with one parting word."

"What was that, sweetheart?"

"Grandchild." We both laugh.

"Oh, my goodness, that man. We will have to talk about it later." Tae says. "First, we must survive our 18-year-old." We both snicker in agreement. Tae turns his head towards the window and releases a gasp.

"Kookie, look at that gorgeous sunset!" I look over and admire its beauty, deriving its meaning for me.

As the jet plane rises, the sun sets on our day as an orange and golden light delicately paints the horizon as if it were airbrushed. A masterpiece created just for us. I see it as the sun setting on our time here with a perfect closing to this chapter of our life. Next will be the sunrise, which I know will be different but just as lovely. As long as I'm with Tae, all my sunrises and sunsets will be amazing, as long as we're together.

Tae's POV:

I cuddle under a blanket as Kookie returns from the back cabin.

"How is he doing?" I ask.

"He's asleep, babe. He'll feels like shit by the time we arrive."

"Good!" I said snidely.

"Tae, that's not very nice."

"The hell it's not." Kookie chuckles.

"Tae, are you still upset about those Gucci shoes that got ruined? Baby I'll buy you all the Gucci shoes you want."

"No, it's not about it's Gucci Shoes. But I want to say I really loved those shoes. I'm frustrated because he was irresponsible and, if he can't follow the simple direction of one drink, what is he going to do in other matters?" I cross my arms over my chest as Kookie sits next to me.

"Tae did you consider that he was really scared about flying?" I sit up tall. "On top of that he was just shamed around pretty much getting his ass kicked and having you defend him by jumping on someone's back and scratching their eyes out." Hearing this from Kookie makes sense as I slowly nod. "As if you were going to defend him. He's just trying to be a man, Tae. What could be more embarrassing than that?"
