A New Home and New Names

A loud banging woke me up the next morning. I shot up from my spot in the pile of sleeping teenagers to see what was going on. I let out a sigh of relief when I find that it was only Mei, who was working on on of the washing machines we had found yesterday and had apparently dropped one of the parts. As I feel myself waking up a bit more I look back at the rest of the people in the pile and hum in surprise when I find that no one else was awake. 'Guess they really were tired after everything that happened yesterday'. I leave them be and decide to go help Mei bring some more things down so we can get started with making this place our home.

By the time everyone else starts waking up, we had already brought down another washing machine, a dryer, and a dishwasher. Why this place seemed to have everything we'd need, I didn't know. But I wasn't going to complain any time soon. It saved us the trouble of having to go out and find things. Aizawa was the first one awake and Mic was shortly after. As the others awoke one by one the common area was filled with people walking around trying to find places for the appliances that Mei had already fixed.

The amount of things she had already fixed had me wondering when she woke up this morning. Or if she even slept at all. Shoji and Sato moved the washing machines and dryer into one of the empty rooms on the ground floor. Ochako moved the microwave and dishwasher to one corner where we decided to build a kitchen like area. Momo made some tools for the guys so they could build counters and cabinets for said kitchen.

The day was filled with moving furniture around and putting away the things we had brought with us during our flee from U.A. Lunch came and went with no one really stopping to eat. We all just grabbed our food and ate while we worked. We would sit down for a proper meal once we finished moving in. For now it would have to wait as we still needed to find chairs and a dining table or two.

The boys had finally finished the kitchen. They had made the whole thing look spectacular. Cabinets and counters lined the walls, they brought over the refrigerator that Mei had found and fixed, as well as an oven that came from somewhere. They plugged in the Microwave and made sure the water was running for the sink. They did change some of the wiring around to be able to do this, but with Momo and Mei helping them they managed it with no damages to the rest of the wiring.

By dinner time we were finished with our unpacking and moving. All of the rooms had been cleared out and turned into bedrooms for everyone plus a few extras. One of the rooms was turned into our server room, where we stored all of the laptops and computers we would later use for hacking. Another room was turned into the laundry room. All of the extra things we found that couldn't be used at the moment was brought to one of the other warehouses in the area. We would sort through those to see what could be of use at a later date.

After dinner was finished I remembered something that I had thought of while helping Mei fix the oven. We needed code names if we were going to be vigilantes. We couldn't use our chosen Hero names as we didn't want to be recognized. We would also need new costumes for the same reasons. After the internships we were pretty recognizable when we went out in costume. Mostly because of the Hosu thing. The people involved had gotten the most popularity but anyone associated with them got recognized as well. Since Tenya, Shoto, Izuku, and I had been there, our classmates had gained popularity just because they were our classmates.

I brought up the issue to Aizawa and Yamada. He had told us to call him that instead of Mic as we were no longer considered heroes. They brought it back up while we were relaxing on the couches. Aizawa handed everyone a piece paper and a pencil that he had gotten somehow. He then told us that the procedure would be mostly the same as when we had to choose our Hero names. But this time he would be approving the names instead of Midnight. So we got to work, brainstorming ideas before writing them down on paper.
