The sight that greeted us was an ugly one. We landed on the roof of the building beside the city's science lab. It seemed as if it was being used for dual purposes though and illegal ones at that. White Noise was the first to figure out what was going on in the lab. Shortly after her was Pirate. One by one we each figured out what exactly was in that box that escaped our sights for the past week. Once it clicked in our minds what the men were doing we were all horrified. Hermes even threw up over the side of the building.

They were testing on little kids. Kids that looked no older than ten and younger than three. I was frozen in shock that people were capable of doing something so horrible. I was shaken out of my shock, however, by a gentle hand on my arm. I look over to the source of the hand and found a very unnaturally concerned Katsuki. That's when I realized there were tears silently steaming down my face. I shake my head at him and try to focus back on the scene in front of us. Looking closer, I have to cover my mouth in order to stop myself from crying out. There are dead bodies of children in a small cage in the corner of the room. I feel myself sinking to my knees and I sob a little harder at the thought of what these children had to endure at the hands of these monsters.

I can vaguely feel myself being lifted onto my feet. I look around, not really seeing the others staring at me with worry. They must not have seen what I saw. I take a deep shaky breath and try to convey what I saw, to explain why my reaction is the way it is. Somehow I manage to get my point across with minimal stuttering considering how hard it seems to be for me to find my breath.

"Th-there are b-bodies in the c-c-cell."

The others looked instantly more horrified and Hermes looked as if he might hurl again. By this time I slowly pulled myself together enough to notice the figure crouching on the rooftop a few blocks away. An Idea hit me and I needed to get his help. I muttered a small "Stay here," and was hopping rooftops before anyone could stop me. Making sure to keep myself unnoticed, I creep forward until I am standing not three feet away from the man.

"How did you get out of prison, Stain?"

He turns at the sound of my voice but manages to stay in that crouched position. When he looks at me I can see it in his eyes that he knows exactly who I am. With a sinister smile he replies.

"Isn't there a saying against revealing your tricks?"

"That's for magicians. But enough about that. I need your help."

"And why should I help you after what you put me through. I could just kill you instead."

"You could, but then you would have the entire Assassination Association after you. Plus I believe in this situation we need your skill set specifically."

"And why would you so called heroes need my help. And who is this Assassination Association you mentioned."

"We're not heroes, not anymore. We call ourselves that, it's our new group title. And we need your help because we are going after some truly evil men who experiment on little children."

A rage that I did and didn't expect crossed his face. He stood up without a word and motioned for me to lead the way. When we got back to where I left the others; they tensed as the man behind me came into view. I stepped in between them and held my hands out to both my teammates and my somewhat ally.

"It's ok. He's here to help us get rid of these monsters. He hates them as much as we do."

Pirate accepted the explanation and motioned with his hand for the others to stand down. They accepted Stain into the group a bit cautiously but after a few minutes it was like he was actually a part of the team. Within ten minutes we had a basic plan of attack. While I was gone they had estimated the number of people in the lab to be over three times the amount of people we had, all ready for a fight. We would be outnumbered but none of us were worried. They were the ones who were outgunned.
