mariah walked into school with eye bags underneath her eyes and a frown on her face. the night before her mom and her had gotten into it. and mariah and her mom never fought like that ever.

mariah's mom had brought up the topic on having step-dad or even talking to someone new but mariah had completely shut that down. mariah doesn't like the idea of having another father figure.

when mariah's dad had passed away she took it way to nonchalantly. she didn't cry at any point of the time, she couldn't even bring herself to visit him. and she knew that the day would come that it would all come crashing down.

but thank god it hadn't arrived yet.

nobody understood, even though it had happen 3 years ago she never had come to a realization that her dad was actually dead. that's he's not here, and when she has dreams about him it's not actually real.

it had ruined her whole night last night when she had come home from ddot's house. she was having a pretty decent time, minus the amount of times both ddot and her got into arguments it was way better than coming home to your mom saying she might be talking to someone new.

mariah felt like her mom didn't have the right to leave her husband, even thought he wasn't here she thought that even though he wasn't the love was still there.

they had even promised each other with everything it would only just be them two, mariah and carmena. that's the way it was supposed to be the only way.

mariah and her mom were at there throats since last night and they didn't even speak a word to each other in the morning. the two always had a close bond and it felt like it was all crushing down.

mariah had said some things she didn't mean but her mom hurt her right where it hurts. "your selfish mariah. act like you care for once." the same words kept repeating inside mariah's head.
