CHAPTER FOURTEEN ; fine .
SUGARHILL , HARLEM
"TOᑭ TᗯO, ᑎOT TᗯO .""AIN'T NO WAY she slit ya hand in half—lemme see." dd said in between his laughs as he blew out the smoke that came out of his mouth. ddot sucked his teeth, ddot sucked his teeth in response, clearly annoyed. he had never been more embarrassed in his life.
ever since he had slapped her just once it was like mariah had begin having a new form to get mad at him. it was only one slap. just one. and he can't even say he never meant it because he did—with every fiber in his body.
hurt him, physically.
ddot knew that mariah was never afraid of doing anything, even if it was wrong or right she was gonna do it anyway. he had bought the night that she had woken up from a nightmare and when he was high—he thought they were good.
not that they were ever gonna be back on good terms after what he did.
notti let out a low whistle, a lazy grin planted on his face. "ddot's head snapped back towards notti in surprise, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. "you think mariah sexy?" he asked incredulously.
notti sucked his teeth, a look of annoyance crossing his face. "what, you think i'm blind or sum? of course i think she's good lookin," he replied, shrugging nonchalantly. ddot shook his head in disbelief, wondering how he had never noticed notti's interest in mariah before.
"bro notti you're such a whore." dd laughed as he hit his brother softly but he just shrugged. ddot mugged notti though—a emotion bubbling inside his chest that he didn't even know what it was.
he didn't know if it was a high or not but it was a weird feeling that settled down in him, so he really wasn't the only one who thinks mariah looks good.
before ddot could express his words the front door opened, causing all the boys to look back seeing that it was mariah walking though the door. ddot's eyes immodestly avert to notti who had shamelessly look mariah up and down.
