August 24th 2014, Niki's pov

Me and Rebecca have been sitting on the beach just talking, but then we saw a girl. She has this bright red dyed hair and she is kinda tall i think she is around 5'10(177 cm)
she is standing in front of this guy, he was talking at first but than he started yelling and the girl takes a step back. she looks terrified. he takes a step forward and she tries to continue stepping away from him. i saw the tears welling up in her eyes. i look to my left to make eye contact with becca , she nods at me because she knew what i was thinking. we both walk towards the girl as we see the man raise his hand we run. becca runs faster than me so after a few seconds becca stood infront of the guy and she kicked him to the ground, becca continued beating him up. as i run over to the girl i look into her eyes. tears running down her face and her breathing is very heavy

NIKI:
' oh lord are you okay, no wait stupid question' i speak as i look the girl into her eyes
'can i hug you' the girl nods, i rub my hand up and down her back to comfort her we hug for about 30 seconds when we both pull away

NIKI:
'hey,hey look at me. focus on your breathing. breath with me. in... and out..... in... and out...'
we did that for about 2 minutes or so when her breathing became a bit more steady. Rebecca came over to us and sat down next to us

REBECCA:
'god damn it. shit uhm are you okay'

Y/N:
'uhm kinda, i guess? uhm yeah. thank you'

NIKI:
'oh sorry yeah i'm Niki and this is Rebecca, Becca for short'

Y/N:
' my name is Y/n, no but seriously i can't thank you both enough'

NIKI:
'if you don't mind me asking, who was that by the way?'

Y/N:
'oh uhm that's my boy- no ex boyfri-' right when she spoke security came walking over

REBECCA:
'oh shit' she mumbled under her breath

SECURITY OFFICER 1:
'hello girls, we got a message saying that one of you girls was saw beating a guy up, is that true?'

REBECCA:
'uhm yeah i did, why?'

SECURITY OFFICER 2:
'why did you do that?'

REBECCA:
'UHM WELL-" the two man gave her a annoyed look cause she talked so loud, almost screaming "uhm well u see, that man was uhm harassing our friend here and he tried punch her and beat her up, so obviously i'm gonna kick his ass for that"

i look over at Rebecca talking to the officers explaining what she'd done and why. then i peek over at y/n she's zoned out, fidgeting with the rings on her fingers and shaking her leg up and down. i look at her arm a big red/blue bruise on her arm. and there is one question wandering around my mind and that is: did he do that?
i stand up and sit a bit closer to her but not too close since i dont wanna make her uncomfortable there are about 4 inches (abt 10 centimeter) between us. im not too close but im close enough to get some more contact with her. i think about it for 24 seconds before i put my arm over her shoulder and side hug her. she snaps out of her trance and stares at me before i see her tearing up and the tears stream down her face.

NIKI:'

oh darling.. your okay, your safe. i got you'

i try to assure her that she's safe

Narrators pov:

the only thing to be heard on that place at the beach is rebecca explaining to the officers what happend and y/n's sobs and cries while niki tries to assure her that its all gonna be okay, but as much as y/n wanted to believe that. she just couldnt.

there's no way in hell that its gonna be okay. that was the only thought creeping around her mind the whole time while niki was assuring her

Niki promised herself to not let this girl alone and help her whenever she needed, wether she wanted it or not.

Rebecca promised herself to protect these two girls with her whole life. no matter what it would cost

and Y/n promised herself to not fall in love ever again. and she hoped that these girls who saved her will continue to stick by her side for always and forever

little did she know that they would and that they would stick by herside always. they both needed to be the red haired girl's savior

and y/n also saw them as her saviors
