"Your joking with us right? Like why- how??" Belarus tried to say but had a hard time putting her thoughts into words.

"I am not lying, on March 30, 1867 I sold that land to the US for 7.2 million. And the meant I also sold my son." RE said still not making eye contact with anyone.

"Wait wait wait! So you telling us that you, had a son before Soviet, you failed as a dad to them, SOLD them, AND NEVER TOLD ANYONE ABOUT THIS!" Germany stated, starring right at RE.

"Yes...."

At this point no one knew what to say. Russian Empire had practically told them all that was needed to know, though some still had questions for another time. But now the question stood. What where they going to do with this newly discovered information?

"So what now? Like what can we really do? No one knows about us being able to travel back to the realm of the living, and I don't think we really want to change that. And out of the living countries here only Germany and Ukraine maybe have a positive relations with them. AND WE DONT EVEN KNOW IF THEY STILL ARE ACTUALLY ALIVE!" GE said stepping out in a way so more people could see him.

Sadly though the others knew he was right. Even if they somehow got America to agree on ether meeting up with them or them coming to his house (which was probably not a possibility) they didn't even know if this kid was still alive. Which then meant releasing their secret and risking it being shared with others.

Again the group was silent. No one really knew how to carry on about this topic or how to handle or change it.

RE was still sitting in the chair, Soviet now standing next to him after they ended their hug. The photo book was still open to the page that started this whole thing. RE couldn't help but feel overwhelming sadness and disappointment in himself. He looked at the little boy in the picture, their eyes full of innocences and happiness, wile his eyes were full of nothing but a emotional mess of negative emotions.

"What if we looked through the rest of the pictures in the book?" East said, trying to figure out how to make the situation less awkward.

RE didn't say anything but getting up from the chair and handing the book over to Soviet before walking upstairs. He already knew what was in the darn book. He felt sick even thinking that he forgot about what he did, and now that he remembered it wouldn't, couldn't, stop flashes of memories of that time pass right in front of him. And as he remembered more and more, bigger and bigger waves of gilt smacked down on him.

But back to the others, Soviet took his fathers place in the chair, with the book still opened to the same page on his lap.

Everyone moved to get a look of the page. Again during this time, no one spoke a word.

Soviet took a moment to get a good look at the first picture. He was understandably still surprised by the fact that he wasn't an only child be instead the youngest child from his father.

After taking a deep breath he turned the page.

This time the women was gone and it was just his father and his supposed brother. His brother look to be about 5 in this picture, standing next to his father wear to what looked like a fancy military uniform, unsurprisingly. And his suspicion about the wing were proven to be true, as now you could easily see small wings on his back.

The others who were study the picture with interest and curiosity through had the same thoughts as the larger red country. But all where curiosity waiting to Soviet to turn the page, wanting to see what was next.

So Soviet delivered, turning the page.

However this time, unlike the pass two, the boy was no longer held a happy look on his face , but instead looked like he was very much forced to not do so, as he looked like he had a pained look hidden on his face but yet you could see a small bit of happiness in there as well. RE was still standing behind the boy who now looked like he was now 7.

After taking a moment to prepare themselves Soviet turned the page again.

But this time it was just RE. With the same face and stance he had in every other photo in the book. But something about the picture made a lump form in each of their throats, and sense of   dread set in as well.

Soviet turned the page again.

This time the boy was back. But this was no longer a drop of happiness hidden behind a stone cold face.

The boy looked to be about 10 now. And had the stance and dead face look of one that was 2x older than him. They didn't know what RE did but what ever he did the happy smiling child was replaced with a dead cold mirror of what it  once was. And now it was standing next to the same RE from the other photos.

After taking a few moments to take in the pictures, with a heavy heart, Soviet again turned the page.

But this page again, was just RE alone.

Soviet didn't even let the others get a good look at this one before turning to the next page.

But it was blank.

100% blank.

Soviet quickly turned to the next page, then the next, and the next, and the next....

All the other pages where blank....

Soviet then turned back to the page that both of them were in last, and just stayed there on that page.

"I guess the last picture was taken before they got sold." Russia said standing up straight.

Many of the others nodded and others gave other signs of agreement.

Soviet did as well, closing the book. "Wish we had a little more to go off of then just a few photographs."

"Well there nothing we can do dear." Reich said putting a hand on Soviet's shoulder.

Bel sighed disappointedly walking away from the group who were still talking about the pictures in the book.

Belarus kept walking, thoughts still running through her head.

"Your mind still racking with questions Bel?"

Belarus got smacked out of her thoughts by the voice. She looked up from the floor to see her grandfather sitting on a large wood crate in front of her. She didn't even notice that she had walked up the stairs and found her grandfather.

"Y-yah, I'm sorry."

"There's no need to apologize Bel, karma was due to take its toll on me one day. Just didn't think coming back here would make the demons of my life come to haunt me even after I passed."

RE smiled sadly but warmly at his granddaughter patting a spot next to him on the crate he was on.

Bel smiled back as she went and sat next to her grandfather.

"Do you mind if I ask some questions? You don't have to if you don't feel comfortable with me asking you questions about this...."

RE rested a hand on her shoulder. Smiling again at her warmly.

"Like I said karma was going to catch up with me one way or another. And me having to explain my sins to my family is part of said karma. Ask all the questions you want to about this matter."

"Ok...."
