(Side note- when in public countryhumans do put on human disguises but you can picture their human forms however you what unless I say a canon detail about their design as it won't be a big part of the story.)

Germany's POV:

This is the worst,

No, like, the actual worst.

Getting 10 people up and ready to go at 7:30 in the morning, to then make a 2 hour drive to the airport was already a long and difficult task to accomplish. But we were able to do it nonetheless. But now the next step was getting on the plane.

Problem- We can't control when these planes take off. As none of us can (legally) fly a plane.

So here we are, sitting in the middle of the airport, waiting for are plane. That is already 2 hours behind schedule.

This is just great.

East had his head resting on my shoulder while watching me play a game on my phone. Grandpa, who is sitting next to East on his other side,is talking to RE about something, it's none of my business but if I had to guess I would say it's about are whole reason for this journey. Dad, Russian stepdad and Russia were getting food I think. And everyone else is sitting around and also talking and/or playing on their phone.

—————————————

How the hell did we think this was a good idea?

I have taken many trips to other countries for meetings, conferences and  events, and all of those were fine!

(Most of the time-)

So why of all the times for things to go so unbelievably wrong it had to be the time we are about to do one of the most stressful meetings of our lives! Like it's unbelievable!

I swear there must be about 50 kids on this plane, as soon as one stopped screaming another started! Why the heck do we even allow kids on planes?!? What could be so important that the parents can't wait till their hell spawns are older? I mean your child won't even remember this trip if they still can't handle a 8 period without being the center of attention!

"You're going to break the arm rest.."

Oh right...

"Sorry... I guess I'm just stressed out", I said as I let go of the arm rests and instead placed one hand in my lap while other went to fix my glasses.

"That's understandable, I mean I think we all can agree that this situation is less than normal or ideal... I'm sorry that you were chosen to do the meeting", East said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's the best option we have..."

"Yeah...."

"....."

Finally its was quiet. But why did it seem so much louder? Everything feels numb...  What is the ringing.... Why are my ear ringing? Why is it getting louder... How can it be so quiet yet so loud...?

What if we mess this up... what if I mess it up...

"Didn't I tell you that you're going to break your arm rest?"

......

"...sorry..."

East gave me a small smile and reached up to placed one of his hands in my shoulder, giving it a small but reassuring squeeze. " You don't need to be sorry. I get you are stressed and you need to find a way you can ground yourself. However I don't think potentially getting a fine from the airline would really help with that stress level of yours." He said while giving me another few squeezes on my shoulder.
