(I don't think ppl understand but this will have short chapters (like 200-300 words) but shorter chapters = longer book. Every book I have is updated on Friday, k?)

I rolled over slowly, rubbing my eyes and letting out little kitten yawns. I got up (against my will) and sloppily walked to the bathroom.

I slid the shower curtain down the rod and turned on the hot water.

I waited until it was hot, then stepped in.

School was as usual, people swarming and hovering and being loud. It made me a little frantic, I guess. It made me antsy and on edge.

I found Calum by my locker and smiled, putting a huge grin on my face. "Hi!" I opened my locker and pulled out my binders and books. "Ready for math?"

He smiled a little, nodding as he slung his arm around my shoulder like always.

When we got to the classroom, I took my seat. I didn't really like it because it was so far away from Calum.

We were pretty early, so kids were still filing in. The teacher wasn't in the room, either.

I snuck up to the front by Calum and anticipated on being tree unilateral more people came in. "I don't like my seat," I mumbled. "I don't get to sit next to you."

Calum laughed a little. What is he laughing about? I thought. I asked him.

"You just need to be a little more independent, you know?" he said. My mouth went dry. "It's not a bad thing that you like to be around me," Calum tried, "just too much isn't healthy."

"You don't... You don't like me?" I asked, hurt.

Before he could answer, a boy twice my size stood over me. "Get of my seat, thot."

I nodded, looking down at my feet as I headed to the back of the room.
