Hussayn's anger boiled over as he confronted Layla about what he had heard. He stormed into her room, his face flushed with a mix of frustration and disbelief. Layla's heart raced as she braced herself for the confrontation she had feared.

Hussayn: "Layla, I cannot believe what your mother told me. How dare you go against everything we believe in? Supporting homosexuality? It's a disgrace!"

Layla, her voice quivering, tried to remain composed.

Layla: "Dad, please try to understand. I believe in love and acceptance for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation. It's about showing compassion and empathy."

Hussayn, his voice laced with anger, stepped closer to Layla.

Hussayn: "This is unacceptable, Layla! Our religion condemns such behavior. We have our values and traditions that must be upheld. You're treading dangerous ground."

Layla's eyes filled with tears, her voice choked with emotion.

Layla: "Dad, I'm not asking you to change your beliefs, but I'm asking for your understanding and respect. It's about embracing the diversity of humanity and extending kindness to all."

Hussayn's frustration intensified, and he raised his voice.

Hussayn: "Understanding and respect? You think I can respect something that goes against our faith? This is a test from Allah, Layla. You need to repent and turn away from this sinful path."

Feeling overwhelmed, Layla's thoughts raced, and she knew she couldn't continue this argument. She made a difficult decision.

Layla: "Dad, I need some time to think. I'm going to stay with Sarah for a while. Maybe some distance will help us both gain perspective."

Hussayn's face contorted with anger and disappointment.

Hussayn: "You dare to walk away from your family and your faith? You're making a grave mistake, Layla."

Without another word, Layla grabbed a few belongings and left the house, her heart heavy with sadness but also with a newfound determination. She needed space to process her own feelings and find solace in the support of a friend who understood and accepted her.

As Layla found herself on Sarah's doorstep, tears streaming down her face, she felt a mixture of fear and relief. She hoped that in time, her father would find it in his heart to see her as more than just a source of disappointment. But for now, she sought refuge in the embrace of a friend who offered love and acceptance in a world that seemed intent on dividing them.
