Chapter 25: A Safe Haven

Layla and Maya found themselves on the train, heading home from work, when an incident of blatant homophobia unfolded before their eyes. Two individuals on the train began hurling derogatory slurs and hateful remarks at them, their faces twisted with prejudice.
