Surprisingly, unsurprisingly, there were a lot of arguments in your relationship with seungmin. With his stubbornness, pride, and childishness, arguments ranged from small to big. And this was one of the biggest arguments you've had with him so far.

"Are you seriously saying forgetting our 5th anniversary was just a small mistake?! How can you say that! After everything I had planned for us today." You yelled

"What?! People make mistakes you know, and no one asked you to plan something big. It's not like this is our first anniversary or something." He yelled back. It wasn't often he raised his voice at you, so right now you felt the tears threatening to come out."

"You forgetting something as important as this makes it seem like I'm not important to you at all.." You say, voice breaking.

"God y/n you know about the big comeback coming up and it's the only thing on my mind. If you weren't so selfish and greedy maybe you would be supporting me instead." He said angrily.

You widen your eyes. You? Selfish, greedy, unsupportive? After everything you've done for him?? The tears finally came rushing down.

"Well, if you haven't noticed everything I've done for you... then maybe I'm just wasting my time with this relationship. Sorry seungmin, but I don't think I want to spend time in a one-sided relationship." You left for the bedroom, got a bag, and filled it with your stuff.With that, you walked out and slammed the door behind you.

To be honest, you didnt know if he loved you very much or did, but at that moment it didn't seem like it at all and you were blinded by hurt and anger to think clearly, making the impulsive decision to break up.

Part of you wished he would run out of that house and stop you, but the other part knew he was too prideful to admit his wrongs so quickly. So you left for chan's house and stayed tere for the rest of the week

TIMESKIP 1 YEAR

None of your friends talked to seungmin anymore, except for the members. But Even his members were mad at him and told him you didn't deserve to be treated like that and all you asked of him was one simple thing. It broke him knowing he made you feel how he promised he never would but he couldn't take it back and he could only moved forward.

The two of you didn't talk and if you did it was a brief hello before you would find his members and hang out with them. Soon, he became busy with solo practices and stages and wasn't home much due to travelling and events he had to go to. The only time he saw you was when he stopped by chan's work, where he found out you work there now.

Finally, the solo's were over and he was able to relax. The kids decided to host a little get together party to celebrate another good season. It was always a nice way to unwind and he liked the attention he got from the girls there. It would distract him from thinking about you.

When he arrived, he was almost immediately greeted by a group of girls who were flirting with him but he wouldn't entertain them further than that. He excused himself and went to get something to drink where minho was.

"Seems like you were enjoying yourself over there."

"Awww, don't be so jealous. You'll get your shot at being the star of the party soon."

minho rolled his eyes at him but continued to let him talk anyway. He wasn't really listening but knew seungmin was blabbing about how many fan girls he has and minho would benefit from learning a thing or two. seungmin was quickly interrupted when something caught minho's eye.

"Isnt that y/n over there?" He pointed to where he was looking.

When seungmin looked over, he saw you looking as pretty as he remembered, maybe even prettier, and smiling so bright it almost blinded him. He didn't expect to see you here and he definitely didn't expect to see someone with an arm around your waist holding you close. When he looked up, he saw his face but with different hair. It was hyunjin, the guy he never expected to see you with, but with his hands on you and kissing your cheek every now and then. seungmin knew he didn't have the right to say anything and decided it would be best to just let you be and talk to you later.

He was happy to see you happy even though it hurt a little bit to see his friend being the one to make you smile like he hadn't. He would give you the time you needed and hoped to eventually become friends again or at least be on good terms. He wouldn't ever stop loving you but he would let you go, over time, if it meant for happiness.
