Dreamlike feeling

( I'm so cold...)
"Hello?"a voice calls out?
"Is anyone out there?"the voice asks.
"Please somebody help me!"they call out.
"Somebody? Anybody?! Please!?"the voice begs.
"Please I'm scared I'm not ready to die...not yet...not like this"the mysterious voice begins to sob.
"PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!"they call out a final time.

"AH!" I wake up in a cold sweat.
"Oh Norman, are you alright? Did you have a nightmare?" Giggles asks me.
(Should I tell him? How do I know if he's trustworthy, after all I only met them the other day)
"Yeah but it's nothing to worry about" I say with a smile plastered to my face.
(It's just a dream it doesn't mean anything....right?)

"Alright today is Trixies "birthday"" Giggles said in air quotations.
"Who's Trixie?" I ask while walking with Giggles.
"Well Trixie is kind of like you in a way. She came here from the human realm with Sarah one day and has lived in her own level ever since."they say.
"How do we get to the other levels? I haven't seen any stairs or elevators." I ask.
"Well each level is special but to get to Trixies level we have to press start on one of the arcade games here and it'll teleport us there" Giggles says excitedly.
(He knows a lot about this place, it's good that they found me otherwise I might've ended up somewhere dangerous)
Finally me and Giggles reach an old fashioned arcade machine from the 90's, it has shapes of all different colors and sizes swirling around on the machine in a tornado like pattern. Giggles reaches out for my hand, I hesitate but grab his hand nonetheless. They press a few buttons on the machine and then the Home Screen shows up giving them the option to play the game.
"Hold on tight" they say.
"Wouldn't want you getting lost in empty space".
After that they walk towards the arcade machine and press the start button.
