*Present*
"Deliberate was it? Or did the spitefulness come without a fret?" Chaeyoung's therapist asked.
She was amused at Chaeyoung's progess within her story. From denying being attracted to women to finally taking a step and going for it, she was mildly impressed.
"I wasn't doing it to spite anyone! It just happened and-." Chaeyoung grew silent before sighing dramatically.
"Mina was awful for saying those things to me though! She called me a slur!" Chaeyoung whined.
"But you are." Her therapist said under her breath. Chaeyoung glared at her therapist and crossed her arms.
"It was just sex anyways. Nothing exciting." She said as if it wasn't the most magical thing she ever experienced.
"Chaeyoung, this was a big leap for you. You not only accepted that you liked women but you crossed a red line and you got something out of it. I'm proud of you." Her therapist said. Chaeyoung scoffed.
"Proud of me for getting pussy? I guess." She said. Her therapist threw her pen at her and raised a brow.
"That's not what I meant." She said annoyed.
"Yeah yeah. Anyways, we...went on a real date the day after." Chaeyoung confessed. Her therapist gasped.
"Really? How was that?" She asked.
Chaeyoung looked down at her paper, noticing that she had written Mina's name about a hundred times in the span of the time she was talking with her therapist today.
"Oh, well-."
*Past*
Having woken up with a chill running down her spine, Chaeyoung shuffled slightly in her wake, clinging onto a body that laid beside her. Chaeyoung's arms draped around it.
Soft snores could be heard in the quiet of the early morning, prompting one body to move, grow awake as the sun beckoned them to.
When Mina had awakened, she stared at the ceiling before her. She listened quietly to Chaeyoung's light snores and stayed still.
She didn't know what time it was but she hadn't slept so good before, always growing restless in the night- but not last night.
When Midnight was often her afternoons, it became her actual midnight, where she fell asleep in arms that seemed to hold her tightly, comforting her in a sense.
She wasn't used to that and so she thought of running away. But to where? To whom? Where to go at a time like this when all was well? Chaeyoung stirred, causing Mina to slightly panic and remove herself from the bed.
She stood up and looked at her surroundings, a small dorm room. There was a mirror in front of her that covered the closet, a desk to her left and a dresser with a lava lamp to her right. It was a cozy abode from what Mina could make out but she wasn't sure she could stay.
"Mina?" She heard Chaeyoung say in a groggy voice.
This had prompted Mina to gasp and look over her shoulder. Chaeyoung was now sitting up and rubbing her eyes like a child, making Mina's heart feel some type of way but she dared not say.
"Oh...you're naked. You might want to grab your clothes off the ground, it hasn't been cleaned in a while." Chaeyoung said. Mina was quick to do just that and head towards the door.
"Once you get changed I can make us breakfast." Chaeyoung said quickly.
Mina lingered by the door, contemplating. If Chaeyoung hadn't suggested a thing she would've just thrown on her clothes and have gone.
