i woke up not seeing my friends. i didn't see luke on the loft or reggie on the couch. i panicked. did they accept caleb's deal!? or did they get taken!? i got nervous and checked the backyard immediately. then, there they were sitting in the picnic matt.
"what the hell?"
no one replied. i sighed and headed back to the studio. i went back to the loft and slept again. a few hours later i heard the door open
"alex? you up?'
"nope, not yet"
"oh, be quiet luke! we don't wanna wake alex up"
i sighed at reggie's dumbness and went down the ladder. i stared at them. my eyes going up and down from what i've seen
"so did you have a good sleep, lukas?" i raised both my eyebrows repeatedly as luke's eyes widened
"you could say that.."
"ok?"
"soo"
reggie turned to luke with a slight movement. of course luke didn't notice, he's blind. things got awkward and i just rolled my eyes
"do we have to cut out the loudness in this room all the time!?"
"alex, it's six in the morning. can wenot do this right now?"
"absolutely no-"
julie then walked inside the studio, with a plate of sandwiches and she knows that we can't eat. am i the only one qho's not stupid around here!? julie put the food down on the table and put her hands around her waist
"hey guys! brought you guys sandwiches"
"we can't eat"
"AND, we don't eat"
"just try?"
"fine.."
the guys and i got the sandwiches and took a big bite. i gulped the food and i could actually taste it. it was so good, i took another bite. same with the two and julie just clapped, happy that we could finally eat
"as you guys eat, have you seen my dad? he isn't anywhere in the house"
"he's in the airport. he said he has a flight to lakewood for a photoshoot"
"how do you know?"
"he talked to me! people can see us now"
"they can!?"
"yeah.. my parents saw me a while back"
"why didn't you guys tell me sooner!?"
"sorry julie.."
"it's fine luke.." the two smiled at eachother and i thought it was sweet. then there was reggie who was trying to hide a frown
"hey luke?"
"what's up julie?"
"since dad isn't here.. mind walking with me to school?"
"yeah sure! sounds great"
luke put his food down and dusted off his hands before they both held hands and walked out the studio. reggie looked disappointed and headed to the couch. i sat beside him as the silence wrapped around us
"you like julie, huh?"
"sur- wait! what!?"
"you have feelings for julie! that's why you're acting up!"
"no- you got it so wrong"
"nah, stop denying and just accept it"
"alex, i don't like julie"
