"Phi mew , Director John is here " My assistant kat , peeked through the half opened door of my office.

"Oh yea. Please send him inside " I told her as I put away the work I was doing until then.

Director John walked inside and I stood up to give him a hug.

"You are getting younger by each year director " I told him making him brust out laughing.

"You are really good with your words as always" Director John laughed patting my back.

Director John is a 60 years old man. But still very energetic as always. I worked with him many times throughout my career now he treat me like Iam his family. I am always happy to meet this man.

" Is coffee okay? Or do you want to drink something cold?" I asked him as I pressed the button on my desk that would ring a bell at my assistants desk.

My assistant got inside within a few seconds.

"Coffee is fine " the director said.

"Bring us two coffees. Also kat, Send me those files of 'boys don't cry' series " I told her. She nodded and walked out.

"So director....What show are you directing these days? " I started the conversation.

Even though we are close. It's still business. Director John would not be coming to my office unless he got some work with me.

"I am directing a reality show. Like one of those dating shows " Director said.

"And I want you to join the first episode as a guest host along with another host. It will help raise the popularity of the show" He added.

Just in time. Kat came inside with coffee cups. She placed the cups on the table and walked out of the room.

I grabbed the cup and took a sip as I thought about it. Being a guest host is not bad. That too just one episode. So it won't mess my schedule.

"What about other guest hosts? Who is that going to be?" I asked.

"Well..." Director sat up straight clearing his throat.

"We are thinking of Gulf " he replied.

"What?!" I almost burnt my tounge.

"Did you schedule with him already? " I asked as my heart skipped a beat in my chest.

"See I know it's been years since you guys stopped doing projects together. But I think your comeback will boost the show rating " The director added fastly , worried i might say no before listening to him.

But what does he know. Iam dying to see that man. I am worried that he won't accept to work with me. But I am willing to give it a try.

"Okay I will do " I interpreted his words.

"Really!" The director beemed at me.

"If gulf accepts to work with me. Then sure why not. " I said with a shurg trying to act nonchalant. But my heart is litreally gonna blast. All the excitement, longing since years.

"Excellent! " The director cheered.

"You guys will be the guest hosts. You will appear in the opening episode of the show. The main host will be there with your guys. And he will continue the show. "

"That's sounds good" I agreed with him.

"Maybe if possible. You guys can join the last episode. To besto the trophy to the winners" he added.

"Hmm that sounds good but we still don't know if gulf will accept to this. Let us discuss after you schedule with him" I said not wanting to keep my expectations high.
