PAST AND THE FUTURE

chapter 6

"A kiss scene?!" Gulf exclaimed.

Mew pretended to be shocked. Because he arrived here an hour before and he already read the script. So he knew there was a kiss scene in the script.

"If you are not comfortable then we can talk with the director." Mew offered seeing how shocked gulf is.

"Huh..."  Gulf did not know what to say.

He can see that mew would not object if he says that he doesn't't want to do the kiss scene. If they both object, the director also could not do anything but agree with their choice.

Gulf looked at mew. His sight fixed on his lips. They were pink and shiny. He gulped. It's been years since they kissed but ...he never forgot the taste of those lips. He wanted to taste it again

"Are you okay? " Mew asked standing up from his seat. He looked really concerned. That's when gulf realized he had been fantasizing about kissing mew and his face turned red.

"It's just very hot in this room.I feel soffacated..." Gulf said fanning himself with the script papers.

"Yea it is. Let me lower the AC temperature " Mew said hurriedly looked for the remote control and clicked on the buttons .

"Do you feel better? Or shall we go out for a walk?" Mew asked.

"Nah nah I am good. " Gulf brushed it off as he motioned mew to get back to his seat.

"I think we should just go on with it." Gulf mumbled slowly.

"Huh..." Mew said not quite catching what he just spoke.

"I mean the kiss. We should just go on with it. " Gulf spoke loudly with more confidence now.

"We can really say no if you are not comfortable" Mew added.

"It's okay. It's not like we haven't kissed before. It's for work . So no hard feelings" Gulf said with a shrug.  

"Oh ..." Mew replied and the room fell silent.

"I will go for a little walk" Gulf rushed out of the room.

One hour later

The set was ready. Mew and gulf were standing beside the director as he explained the scene to them.

"So basically we are gonna shoot a vedio where you both act like the contestants of the show. You will be joining the show, talking with each other. Getting known to each other. Go on dates. Fall in love and finally get married at the end of the video. The main hosts will be acting as hosts in the vedio"  The director explained the list of scenes they were going to do.

"We will do a date scene today." The director went on.

"Dinner by the beach. You have to act like you are falling in love . Get shy and give subtle compliments. Just little hand touchs and stuff like that. " The director said looking at mew and gulf.

"You guys get it ?" He asked.

They both nodded .

"Okay good" the director clapped his hand and walked away towards the camera settings to see if everything was alright. To check the focus of the camera and lighting.

Mochi and kat came running towards their bosses to touch up there make up.

"Actors on the scene! " The director spoke into the mike.

Mew and gulf walked to the dinner table set by the beach.

" Everyone quiet ! "

"Sound!"
