9: Blackout

The first part of the car ride was completely silent. But I had so many questions.

Eva didn't look at me once since she started driving.
She was going so fast I was afraid we'd get pulled over.

She kept her hand on my thigh though. But she gripped it, she needed me to feel how angry she was.

She stared at the road, I stared at her.

"Eva..." I spoke.

She didn't look at me.

"Eva..." I spoke again.

This time she looked at me for a few seconds and then turned back.

"Tell me how you found me," I said.

She stayed silent. And she tightened her grip on my thigh, it was starting to hurt.

"Eva stop," I said as I tried taking her hand off me.

Her grip was too tight.

"What did you do with her in that bathroom?" Eva asked sternly.

"Answer my question first," I replied.

"I won't ask you again Jax," she let out.

I sighed before answering.

"All we did was kiss-"

"Don't lie to me Jax!" Eva interrupted.

"I'm not... stop yelling at me," I spoke.

I could hear her breathing. She was pissed. But she didn't say anything.

"I didn't think you'd care so much since you fuck a new girl like everyday-"

I was cut off by Eva slamming my face into the car window.

My cheeks were planted against the window as she held it there with her right hand.

I could feel as her grip become loose, she was starting to regret what she did.

She put her hand down.

"Shit... I'm sorry Jax- I didn't mean to," she spoke.

"Stop the car," I said.

"Jax-"
"Stop the car Eva!" I shouted.

She slowly stopped the car. I unlocked the door attempting to walk out, but then she grabbed my arm real tight.

"Jax! Look just sit and you can be mad at me later," Eva said.

"Fuck you!" I yelled as I pulled my arm from her grip.

I walked out of the car and started walking home.

Eva kept the door open and followed me with the car.

"Jax! You don't even know where the new house is!" Eva shouted.

"I told you... I'm not moving in with you!" I shouted back.

"Is all this because of her?!" Eva yelled.
