june was in the passenger side of jacks car the 3 triplets in the back together they were all going to a lake house together for a couple days "how am i meant to sit in between these 2 for the next 3 hours" said nick "your welcome to go in luka and ivy car with them" said june he didn't say anything "so tell me again why did we chose to leave to go to a lake house 3 hours away at 9 at night" said matt "everyone had things on today and didn't finish until late" said june "im just excited to go on holidays again" said matt june laughed she was also excited considering she has been in meetings with her mangers everyday and finishing up her album she has one more song to write and then she will record the album and then she will release it and do a tour which as much as she was excited for she was already so tired so she happy to get away from everything for a couple days
it had been about an hour chris was asleep matt was looking at the window and nick was just sitting in quiet doing something on his phone "we need to stop we need fuel" said jack june nodded she was half asleep "you need anything while i'm there" said jack "im good" said june smiling he smiled before getting out the car "i need to pee" said matt "why did we need to know that" said nick "i don't know" said matt getting out the car "so you and jack" said nick june looked at him and shook her head "i don't know i mean we kissed but that's it" said june "do you like him" said nick "of course i do but i don't know if i'm ready for a relationship and i don't want to hurt him if he likes me and i'm not ready" said june "that's understandable" said nick "you should just talk to him about it" saks nick "what if he doesn't actually like me and then i make a fool out of myself and ruin everything" said june and nick laughed "june he really likes you have you seen the way he looks at you" "he looks at you like your the only pretty girl he has ever seen" said nick right as jack got back in the car "i know you said you didn't want anything but i got you something anyways" said jack handing her watermelon sour patch kids (if you remembered from a couple chapters ago🤭) "thank you" said june smiling he smiled back she wanted to kiss him again right there right then but she didn't
june usually can fall asleep anywhere no matter where she was that's was the one thing about her she always slept if she could get the chance but she just couldn't sleep the whole car ride "finally my legs are numb" said chris getting out the car as they arrived at the lake house everyone got there bags in the house "so what's the sleeping plan" said luka "well there are 3 bedrooms" said june "so you guys can sort out who's sleeping where" said june walking to one of the bedrooms and sat on the bed "hey" said jack "hey" said june looking at her phone "everyone chose there rooms but i think i'll stay in here with you" said jack "i don't blame you sleeping with them is like trying to survive a tornado" said june jack laughed jack smiled "i think they are ordering food or something" said jack june nodded looking back at her phone
after everyone ate they were doing there own things june decided to get changed in comfy clothes she was sitting in bed answering emails and work related other things "what you doing" said jack sitting next to her "answering emails" said june "have fun with that im going for a shower" said jack "thanks i'll have heaps of fun" said june rolling her eyes jack laughed
june was laying in bed she had put movie on but quickly got bored of it "hey" said jacks as he came back the bedroom with pyjamas and wet hair june smiled "hey" said june "im so tired" said june as she placed her head on his shoulder "want to watch a movie" said june "sure" said jack

jack was watching the movie june was laying on his shoulder he couldn't help but notice june has been off she wasn't talking spending a lot of time on her phone distancing herself "hey june" said jack she looked up at him "yeah" said june "i know you don't like to talk about it but are you ok" said jack june didn't know what to say she wanted to say no and then explain why "yeah i'm fine" said june "your such a bad liar" said jack "mhh what no i'm not im great liar" said june trying to change to the subject "june" said jack june rolled her eyes "im just tired" said june resting her head back on his shoulder "i haven't even finished the album yet and i'm already exhausted" "i can't go a day without having to reply to 1000 emails or having to spend the day sitting in my mangers office" said june jack was listening to her talk as she ran his fingers through her hair jack didn't realise how much it meant to her just him sitting and always listening to everything she had to say
