Y/N's POV:
I was sitting across from my aunt as Miyuki sat next to me.

Yuki: So Y/N, what's life like for you since you came to beastman territory?

Yuki asked me as Miyuki was eating some food she was given.

Y/N: Pretty great honestly, I made friends with Miyuki here and got adopted by my new moms who take great care of me.

I said as Aunt Yuki twitched a bit when I brought up my moms.

Yuki: Well, you will be living here for now. Schachi will guide the two of you to your rooms.

She said as we finished up eating and were taken to our rooms but I noticed our rooms were separate.

Y/N: Excuse me for asking but, why can't we share a room?

Schachi: Privacy reasons, plus we try to keep it same gender per room as for obvious reasons.

He said as Miyuki looked at me nervously.

Y/N: Alright but I want to see Miyuki get to her room safely before I go to mine.

He nodded as Miyuki was escorted to her room before I was escorted to mine.

Y/N (mind): Something seems very sketchy about all of this. I just hope Miyuki stays safe.

Miyuki's POV:
I waited until later that night so it was more clear to sneak around. I knew something was wrong and wanted to know what was going on. I snuck out of my room avoiding all the people that were walking around but then noticed a room labeled do not enter. I opened the door as it lead down to a basement area and what I saw was horrific. A bunch of chambers with dead bodies in them but I then heard a voice from one of the chambers.

Kenji: H-hey kid.

I heard him say weakly as I walked over to the chamber he was in.

Kenji: I'm looking.......for a boy named......Y/N. I have........to warn......him.

Miyuki: About what?

I ask getting worried.

Kenji: She plans to use a ritual on him. To make him unleash his beast form and become her successor.

Miyuki: Well what do we do?

I ask as I managed to pick the lock letting him out.

Kenji: You need to get to wherever Y/N is and the two of you need to escape ASAP.

Miyuki: But what about you?

I ask, worried for him.

Kenji: I'm too weak to go on anymore kid. Best I can do is provide a distraction for you so you can escape with Y/N.

I nod and knew it was the best option.

Kenji's POV:
I was creating noise to keep the attention off of Y/N's friend, the Apex trio then walked over to me and I knew this would be my final battle. We then rushed at each other ready to clash. I knew I wasn't going to win but as long as I can give that little girl enough time to help that's all that matters. I knew what had to be done.

Yuki's POV:
I was walking over to get Y/N so the ceremony could begin. However when I turned the next corner to his room I bumped into Miyuki who was supposed to be in her room.

Yuki: Why are you out of your room little one?

I asked in a tone that wasn't meant to scared her but at least show my dominance.

Miyuki: I had to use the bathroom but the one in my room was locked for some reason so I went to see if I could quickly use Y/N's.

I look at her in the eye as she said that and reluctantly allow her but stayed close to her as to keep an eye on her. We arrive at his room as I knock on his door.
