Prologue:
Y/N's POV: I was born into a wealthy family, my mom being a famous biologist and my father being the owner of a chain of casinos across the country. Honestly, being rich is great and all, but I'm always held to high expectations I have trouble reaching. Right now I've had this weird craving to chew on stuff, as if I were a beast or something. Eventually, my parents caught onto my behavior, deciding to get me checked out by a doctor hoping everything is alright. We waited for what felt like hours, days, even weeks it felt like to me. The doctor then looked at us before sighing.
Mom: Is he ok doctor?
Dad: He ain't stupid is he?
He asked and was offended by that remark a bit.
Doctor: Well he doesn't have any head problems but we did discover something you might wanna sit down for.
Mom: Please tell us if he's gonna be ok.
Doctor: He has beastman dna.
Dad: That's impossible! My son is not one of those freaky abominations.
Mom: I agree, there has to be some sort of mix up.
Doctor: No sorry, the results don't lie.
Dad: Is there any way this could have happened?
Doctor: Is he related to any beastman? Or maybe had some sort of blood transplant, or something?
Mom: Well, I do have a sister who is a beastman, but she's the only living beastman on my side of the family due to it being a less common trait in my family.
Doctor: Well, that's most likely it then. It must have carried onto your son.
Dad: Well if that's the case, he's out of the family.
He said as my heart shatters.
Mom: As much as I disagree with that part, he shouldn't live with us. He should live in anima city with the other beastman. I mean, an animalized human in the main land? That would surely cause more problems than answers if you ask me.
Y/N: So you guys are just giving me up just like that?
Dad: You can't exactly blame us, they would eventually find out and send you away anyways, so might as well do it now and just pretend we don't have a son.
Y/N: But if moms sister is a beastman, then why aren't you getting rid of her?
Dad: Because we got tested too and her dna isn't enough to classify her as a beastman.
After that happened I was forced out of the house with a two changes of clothing and sent on the next boat to Anima City. The ride there wasn't so bad if not a little bumpy from the waves. We were very close to the city, but then I noticed a bear beastman walk over to me with a suspicious look before grabbing me.
Bear: No humans allowed!
He shouted throwing me into the bay right by the dock, I was struggling to stay afloat, crying for my life, hoping someone would save me.
Nazuna's POV:

I was taking a walk near the bay to clear my mind when I heard shouting, followed by a splash noise. I turn my head and see a kid drowning. Without thinking another moment, I use my ginrou, jump in and quickly pulled him to shore, before returning to my normal form. I then check to see if he was alright, hoping he was ok.
Nazuna: Are you ok?
He looks at me with a scared and sad look, most likely was abandoned considering I didn't see others like him come off the boat.
Nazuna: Hey, it's ok little one. I promise nothing bad will happen.
I said, kneeling down to eye level to him. The kid just clings to me as I gently pick him up embracing him in my arms.
Nazuna: You must be hungry, Let's get you something to eat.
I said as I took him to a small diner to eat at, the people there was nice and I let him get whatever he wanted.
Nazuna: So, what's your name? If I may ask. My name is Nazuna.
Y/N: My name is Y/N.
Nazuna: Well Y/N, do you have a place you can stay at?
I ask as he looked down sadly.
Y/N: No, my parents sent me here and my aunt who lives here says it's too dangerous for me to live with her.
He said and I could tell he was on the verge of crying as I quickly hug him.
Nazuna: It's ok Y/N, from now on you'll be living with me. You'll be Y/N Hiwatashi.
I said, after dinner I took him back to my place and placed him in my bed next to me.
Nazuna: Tomorrow, I'll have you meet my fiancé.
I said before singing the song "Night Running" to him to help him sleep. After he had fallen asleep, I kiss him goodnight before falling asleep myself. I knew this day onward my life would only get more exciting.
