The walk to the paddock was short as it was very close to the hotel. I soon arrived and looked around in awe of how amazing everything looked in real life.

As I headed through, passing all of the motor homes, with my vip lanyard hanging around my neck I heard a voice calling my name.

I turned around and saw a familiar Aussie standing with a small group of people while waving at me.

I walked over excitedly and soon reached where Daniel was standing.

Daniel's POV :

Y/n soon walked over, when she arrived I greeted her with a side hug. All of the boys just stared at her, mesmerised.

'This is Y/n.' I introduced her to them all.

Carlos, Lando, Charles, Pierre and Max all shook her hand and told them bits about themselves.

Charles in particular was gobsmacked by the girl. Jaw practically sitting on his lap with drool hanging out of it.

'It was nice to see you all but I have to go and get a drink before quali starts. Good luck.' She excused herself.

They all watched as she walked away.

'Who was that ?' Asked Lando in a flirty tone.

'Damm Daniel your lucky.' Pierre added to the conversation.

I told them that I was her only friend here, I was just the person to help her and show her around. To give her support in whatever she needed, to treat her like the vip she apparently is.

But she was a lovely girl, very polite and I understood what the boys were saying. She was stunning too.

'Where do I know her from ?' Spoke up Max, I shrugged my shoulders. I had been wondering the same thing since the first time I saw her.

It was like I had been staring at her for years. Her face was so familiar. But I had never seen her before.

Before I knew it, I was sitting in the redbull garage waiting for Qualifying to start.

Y/n's POV:

I found my way to the garages, I headed inside  red bull's. As soon as I walked in I saw mechanics everywhere, people sitting by screens with headphones on, watching the circuit intensely.

When I saw Daniel I rushed over to him. I was sure that I trusted him, that our relationship was good.

I tapped him on the shoulder and he greeted me with a wide smile. He had headphones on and was watching qualifying from the garage.

Suddenly his smile faded and he quickly turned his head back to the screen.

'Yellow flag. It's Charles !' He called out to all the staff who didn't know.

                                      . . .

After I left Daniel. I quickly decided that I wanted to go and see my Dad. That was why I was here and I wanted to get it over with.

But I didn't know what I was expecting, a nice relationship with him ? After how he left me and my Mother ? I don't think so.

I only wanted to know the man, that was more than I've ever had before.

. . .

I wandered around the garage hoping to find someone that looks like my father somewhere.

I lead myself to a door. It has white fogged glass and big bold letters spelling *Team principle* I took a deep breath.

My hand sat on the door handle.

'Fuck it'. I pushed my hand down and waited by the door for him to say something before I could enter.

'Come in then.' Said a voice with the same accent as mine.

I stepped inside slowly. He signalled for me to take a seat although he never looked up from the pile of papers sat in front of him.

I sat down on the cushioned chair opposite to him.

'Now if this isn't life threatening I don't want to know so let's make it quick because I have things to do.' That was rude. Finally he looked at me.

He looked the same as he did when I was younger, although he had more grey in his hair and beard than last time.

'What's your name, girl ?' He spat out.

'Um Y/n.' I replied, my voice shaking.

'I used to know someone called that.' He huffed, leaning back in his seat.

'Anyways, what do you want Y/n.....' he paused for me to say my last name.

'Halliwell.'  I replied hesitant.

He stood up from his chair in shock. He stared at me for a moment, contemplating what to do. Suddenly he spoke up.

'Get out.' He said under his breath.

'What ?' I asked.

'I said get out ! I don't want you here.' I felt anger inside of me, something happened in that moment and I lashed out in a way.

'I'm your daughter !' I raised my voice the same way he had. I stood up so I was level
with him.

'You don't think I know that ?'

'Then why don't you want me !' I screamed at him. 'I came all this way just to meet you, doesn't that mean anything to you ?'

'I left for a reason Y/n. I didn't expect you to follow me.' He excused.

'What was the reason !' I yelled.

'I didn't love your Mother ! I loved you but I stopped loving her and that's why I left.' It all just sort of slipped out of his mouth, as if he thought it wouldn't effect me.

'Yet you never divorced her.' I questioned.

'She wanted the money.' He lied.

'Oh shut up. She could pay for herself.' I hissed at him. I can't believe I came all this way for someone like this.

'Y/n. Stop it. I left that life for a reason and I don't want it back.' He picked up the pile of papers. 'Thank you for coming but this isn't going to end the way you want it to.' He carried the papers out of the room. Ignoring me.

I followed him and yelled after him. 'You know I never needed you ! My mother raised me perfectly but I'm just discussed that I have half of your DNA!'

The whole red bull garage, including Daniel and Max who had finished his laps, all turned to stare at me.

Daniel rushed over to me and put his arms out, 'wait your Horners daughter?' He asked, shocked. Still waiting for a hug from me.

'I don't want to be.' I wiped my nose of the sleeve of my jacket. Suddenly I felt tears running down my face.

Daniel had had enough and he grabbed me by both of my shoulders and pulled me into a hug. He held me in his arms tightly and I felt safe as he did so.

His redbull shirt quickly absorbed my wet tears. I felt his hands rubbing across my back. His and one more hand. It was Max's.

For the first time in a while I felt loved, like I was wanted by someone.

                                   . . .

Soon I made my way back up the hotel. To be honest I wanted to leave this whole night behind. Maybe a drink would help.

I headed to the bar inside the hotel, it was slightly busy. I sat down on one of the bar stools and waited until the young lady walked over and asked what I would like.

'Margarita please, extra alcohol.' And soon she flung over a drink.
