I landed in Luton early on in the day, leaving the airport at around 12 in the afternoon.

I hadn't told either of the boys that i was leaving, I left Daniel a message but he was the only one I had informed and it hadn't gone through yet as I was on the plane for so long.

I found my car which had arrived a bit earlier than me which made a change for once. It was parked in the airport parking lot.

I popped open the boot of the car and threw my suitcase in with the rest of my bags. I heard a familiar voice calling after me.

'Y/N !' They screamed.

I moved my head over and was almost immediately greeted with my mothers arms wrapping around me.

'I missed you so much.' I blew into her hair.

'I'm so happy your home my darling.' She whispered back to me.

'Now come on let's get you home.' She added as we pulled away.

. . .

I rolled down my long drive way in the Porsche, feeling the gravel moving beneath my tires.

I stared up at the house that i had grown up in, the house I loved so much, the house I had missed for the past few weeks.

I stepped out of my car and my mum grabbed my bags and unlocked the door.

Two big balls of fur came running out to me.

The golden retriever, Griffin and the Bernies Mountain dog named Orca. They jumped all over me and I stood with them for a moment, scuffing their fur. I missed them both so much while I was away.

I realised that I had missed my home so much.

But although I was home, my home, I didn't feel at home, because sometimes home can be a person and although I went on the trip for my father and I left knowing I had got my father back.

I had also left with the history of two brothers that I had fallen for.

But there was nothing that I could do about that, I was here and they were there. And thats not going to change.

'How about Chinese?' My mother asked sneaking up behind me.

'Sounds great.' I replied.

I love Chinese food too much, it's an unhealthy obsession.

We headed inside, everything looked the exact same. Finally I was home. I let out an excited squeal with a few jumps that got the dogs perked up with a few barks.

'I think I'll be staying for a while.' I told my mum as she came in with my bags.

'You better be.' She laughed, out of breath from carrying the big weight of my things.

My phone began ringing loudly.

I gave my mum a glance.

'Go ahead to your room I'll get the food ordered.' She said giving me a nod.

'Thank you.' I replied before running up the stairs to my room.

I closed the door behind me and answered it, not paying attention to the name that had came up.

'Hello ?'

'Charles. Hey um what's up ?'

'Y/n ! I'm so happy you picked up.'

'You sound surprised.'

'I thought you'd still be on the plane.'

'Well then you thought wrong because I just arrived home. What's up though ?'

'I just wanted to call you and say that I've spoken to Arthur. I think you two should be together. Don't let me get in the way.'

But the thing is it was all fake, we were fake dating and we only kissed once. He doesn't actually like me.

'Charles, it can't work. He's travelling around the world for work and I'm planning on staying here with my mum in Oxford for a little while longer. We have different dreams and...'

The doorbell rang.

'I've got to go. Thanks for calling, I'll um see you around.'

'Bye.'
