Lizzie's POV

When I opened the door to Pippa's hospital room, I found a different doctor checking her vitals while she slept. It was Doctor Hartzler, Amy's brother.

"Doctor Hartzler?" I asked.

He raised his head to look at me.

"Oh, hi, Miss Barnes. How are you doing since we let you out of the hospital? Are your iron levels high again? Any fainting or dizziness of any sort?" he asked, finishing the new bandages over Pippa's wound.

"I'm okay now. How are you doing since..." I didn't need to mention Amy's suicide. He knew. "It's hard, but I'll get over it. Do you have any news about Colette?"

"Actually, no. Hasn't she called you since she went back?"

"No. She's not returning my texts" He frowned and noted something in his notepad "all her vitals are at a normal level and the recovery is being faster than expected. She has an amazing immune system, everything is working and healing perfectly" he waved a hand toward Pippa.

The twins took that as an invitation and ran to Pippa, hugging her tightly. Pippa woke up with a big smile at the surprise and hugged them back.

"Oh, hi!" she pressed a kiss on both their heads.

"I didn't expect two visits in the same day" she said, turning to me.

"I bring news" I walked to her bedside as Dr Hartzler gave me a nod and went out of the room.

"They already picked their star? That's quick"

"What is she talking about, Lizzie?" MK asked.

"When I went out today I was going to an audition to be part of an official theater production" I explained. I was so nervous about the audition that I had just mentioned it to Olga before I left the house.

"Well?" Pippa encouraged me.

"I didn't get the part, sorry" I shrugged.

"Aww... You'll get it next time. I'm sure" she smiled.

I cracked a smile and a laugh escaped me.

"I'm just kidding. I got the part. I already have my script and I did some character work"

"Oh, you little-" she pursed her lips, fighting a simile and hit my side playfully "So, when can I get the honor of being introduced to Mr Howard?" She invited the twins onto the hospital bed and they snuggled up to one side of her each.

"Are you taking advantage of my career to meet the people I'm supposed to work with? Not nice, Pippa. Not nice" I teased.

She pouted and the twins smiled at her funny expression.

"Not fair" Pippa complained.

"I'll see if I can arrange something but I can't promise you anything" I smiled.

She smiled back.

"Fair enough"

I left the twins at their friend's house since they wanted to have a sleepover and thanked their friend's mom for taking care of them. I went home and found myself with nothing to do. I was done will all the character work I could do without the movie since I wanted to watch it with Pippa. I unlocked my phone and started watching some people's stories on Instagram. I stopped on one in particular. Nevernight. The place covered in neon lights seemed to be calling to me...
