-Mirror Chamber

The Mirror Chamber was now filled with grumbling as most of the students had been led to the dorms already. The only ones left were the last few first years who hadn't been sorted at the time when the Vice Prefects from six of the dorms had come by earlier. Although the Vice Prefect and students from Diasomina all stayed since no one could find the Dorm Head at the time.

Near the front of the room stood six Dorm Heads and one Vice Prefect standing near a large ornate oval mirror. All of them looked bored or tired of waiting for the missing student and the Headmaster who went to look for him.

The shorter redhead and handsome young man both had their arms crossed while looking extremely annoyed, with the young lion-eared man next to them seemed to be falling asleep. Yet his half-lidded green eyes kept glancing at the shorter boy with magenta-streaked hair who was humming lackadaisly to himself.

Standing a bit further away was a boy with glasses using grand hand gestures in a conversation with a red-eyed boy who looked completely enthralled by his words. Fast clicking could be heard from the back of the group from a floating blue tablet, with an occasional deep sigh of boredom coming from the device speakers.

After another minute of waiting, the handsome boy's face had fallen into an elegant scowl.

"How is the Headmaster taking so long to find one student, where could this potato have gone?"

The redhead nodded in agreement and added, "If this person gets sorted into Heartslabyul, I'll make sure they go over the school rules until they know them by heart. It's Off With Their Head if they don't!"

The boy with glasses turned to address both boys who had spoken with a disappointed look on his face. "Now, Riddle, I'm sure our esteemed Headmaster must be doing something of great importance while finding our unfortunate lost student."

Sneering, the lion-eared man narrowed his eyes at his 'concerned' classmate. "Tch, already trying to play good guy after what happened last year, huh Azul?"

From the floating tablet a despondent voice chimed in, "Ugh back to the topic of our great Headmaster, I'm going AFK if this takes any longer than it already has."

"Maybe he got a stomachache or something after he left?" The red-eyed boy added while missing the amused look the young boy with magenta highlights gave at his answer.

"I most certainly did not!"

"Speak of the devil," Riddle huffed.

All remaining eyes in the chamber swung to the Headmaster as he entered with the missing student and... two cat familiars?

"My apologies, I was looking for our missing student here. But now they are here, we can finally finish the sorting. Crowley turned to Kokia, "Simply step up to the Dark Mirror, and be quick about it. I'll watch your weasel."

A muffled, "GRRR" came from the bound weasel.

("Is it an Ultra Beast, Familiar, or Weasel?") Kokia thought to herself while complying with the Headmaster's request.

Turning to face its smooth surface, she couldn't help but feel the simple but elegant piece of glass had something more to its appearance at first glance. The aura that came from the mirror felt stronger than those floating coffins or the weasel who chased her and Waiho.

Standing before the mirror proved her little thought correct of it being magical as a large mask wreathed in green flames appeared inside its surface.

("It kinda reminds me of those masks you see hung above a theater stage.") She thought in silent awe.
