The Greek sky was splattered with white clouds as they rolled on with the winds accompanying them.

The coast of the Athenian land, awash with salty water, brought with it the calming sound of rolling waves as they rose high and low, seafoam rising from them looked like white horses galloping on the waves.

In the distance, on the greenish-blue water of the sea, stood a young boy — no more than six — looking down at the rolling waves under his feet.

His thoughts were:

Papa is going to give me an earful.

He despaired unable to help his urge of walking on the sea water.

It was a siren's call, the blond — Uzumaki Naruto — had long since realised. But he was, after all, but a child, prodigy or not. How could he resist the mythical creature's call when she, so beautifully, was singing about his favourite thing.

—Spicy chicken ramen.

Damn it, the blond Jinchuuriki cursed in his heart. Why was he being lured into a very apparent trap.

As he drew farther away from the Parthenon, his body slowly refused to listen to his commands.

A common phenomenon, his Papa had told Naruto. It was common phenomenon for the victims to lose control over their limbs once they were in the sirens' snare.

Damn spicy chicken ramen.

All Naruto wanted to do right now was scream for his Papa or Father.

As he walked closer to the source of the song, the melodious lyrics became clearer than before.

'Naruto-chan~ come to me, come to me...'

'I have made a bowl of spicy chicken ramen...'

'The noodles are too spicy for me~'

'Won't you come? Wo~ won't you come?'

No I won't!! Naruto roared in his heart, desperately fighting against the siren's trap.

“Uzumaki Naruto!“ Papa's scream tore through the siren's song and Naruto felt the weight on his body being elevated.

Finally getting back the control over his body, Naruto made a run for his home, glancing back briefly at the giggling siren, he shook his head.

The sea breeze slapped him in face, making his now shoulder length blond hair — pulled into ponytail — scatter along with it. The blond boy's white robes with amber accent billowed after him as he ran across the sea surface.

On the shore, stood his Papa, Lysander Ashford, the High Priest of Athens, looking at him with a scowl.

“Is this what I taught you all those jutsus from Namikaze and Uzumaki clan for?“ Lysander chastised, pinching the bridge of his nose as he looked away from his son.

Naruto looked down, feeling sheepish and sorry for yet again giving into the call of water.

“But the water calls me,” he mumbled quietly. Lysander looked at him and got down on his knees.

“I know,” the High Priest stressed, squeezing the Jinchuuriki's shoulder. “But I'm just... Scared. Your Baa-chan and the Lord of the Seas have never really gotten along. Now that you're under mother's tutelage, I just don't want anything to go wrong.“

Naruto nodded as he smiled at his Papa.

“Hey, I'm not that petty, y'know?“ A man wearing a fisherman hat and Hawaiian shirt with shorts and flip-flops said from the side.
