The next day everyone was preparing for their plan. It was late and soon it would be go time to execute it.
Clementine was in ammunitions, grabbing guns and ammunition.

"You ready?"

Clementine turned around to see Javi leaning on the doorframe.

"Think so." Clementine nodded.

"Good." Javier smiled. "Just please be safe and don't get yourself stuck."

"I wont." Clementine smiled.

"You sure you don't want anyone to go with you?" Javier asked.

"Im sure." Clementine nodded while loading her gun.

"Positive?" Javier asked.

"Javi." Clementine said while narrowing her eyes.

"Okay okay." Javier said while throwing his hands up in defence. "Just making sure."

"I just need to do something first, i'll meet you in a minute." Clementine said.

Javier nodded while Clementine threw her gun strap around her shoulder and left. A few moments later she arrived at the school. Aj was sitting on the steps and immediately jumped up when he saw Clementine.

"You waiting on me?" Clementine chuckled.

"No." Aj muttered.

Clementine took a seat beside Aj on the steps.

"We're heading out soon." Clementine said.

"Can i please come? Please? Ill be really good!" Aj said.

"Im sorry, but its too dangerous." Clementine frowned.

"But i need to be with you!" Aj pleaded.

"You'll be safe here, i promise." Clementine smiled.

Aj straightened his eyes and frowned.

"But what if you get bit?" He frowned.

She sighed before answering. "You're gonna be safe here no matter what. If something happens to me you have Kate and Javier and all the school kids. You're gonna be okay."

"But you need to come back!" He pleaded.

"I'll do my best." Clementine smiled.

A few minutes later Javier called out for Clementine as they were all ready to go. Clementine walked over towards the group and Aj followed. Once she reached them she turned to Aj and got on his level.

"You'll be safe here okay?" She said.

"But i want to come with you." He muttered, looking down at the floor.

Clementine frowned and pulled him in for a hug. "I love you so much Goofball." She whispered.

"I love you Clem." He whispered back.

They pulled out of the hug and Clementine stood up. She ran her hand through his hair and smiled.

"Ill be back soon." She smiled.

Aj nodded and soon the whole group were on their way.

"Aj's pretty pissed at you leaving?" Violet asked.

"So pissed." Clementine frowned.

"He'll come around once we're all back." Violet smiled.

"I hope." Clementine nodded.

"He will." Violet said reassuringly.

A few minutes later, whoever wasn't leading walkers split from the group including Violet, Brody and Louis.
