"Marissa!" Hagrid sobbed into the back of my robes as he held me in a death grip, "Harry and Hermione gave Norbert to Ron's brother! He's just a baby! What if he doesn't like Romania? Or the other dragons don't like him?"

I awkwardly patted his back, "Hagrid, I'm sure he'll do just fine."

"They got detention, all four of 'em."

"Four? Hagrid I thought you said it was Harry and Hermione?"

"Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottem were found out of bed as well. They all have to serve detention with me."

"HAGRID THATS GREAT! They can help us search the forest."

"I dunno Marissa," Hagrid stood up and shifted his weight between his feet, "It seems awful dangerous for a bunch of first years."

"Well they were the ones who got detention. LLAMA OUT!" I ran back up the hill to see Charlotte spinning in circles surrounded by seedless dandelions and pooping mockingbirds.

I grabbed her arm and began to drag her into the castle. "C'mon Lotte we have a guy to pick up and elven-leather to find."

Elven leather is a sacred material, it can deflect the shapest of blades and even sheilds you from most spells. It's quite a shame most wizards don't know about it. The only reason we were able to obtain it to form armor was because a door opened on the seventh floor revealing loads of it (I put some in a bag which was charmed with a undetectable extention charm) I might need it on a rainy day.

We kidnapped Jacob from the Gryffindor common room earlier so he could help and I changed my hair to black for camouflage.

Sooooooooooo enough serious business.

I sat down in the grass next to Hagrid Jacob and Charlotte who were all standing. WE'VE BEEN HERE FOR AN HOUR! How are all four of them late for their own detention? Finally the front doors of the school opened and Filch led Harry Hermione Bestie and Neville out to us.

"Whats with the extras?" Filch asked after making a remark about dungeons and thumbs or something like that.

"None of your business, just go back to the castle."

Filch sneered at Hagrid's response but did what was asked of him anyway. TEAM AWESOME PREVAILS!

Hagrid led us to the forest while I explained the situation. "There is an injured unicorn running around and all the unicorns are in grave danger. Someone's been drinking their blood. I am pretty sure it was Voldemort but we must be positive as their lives are at stake. Harry ask Hermione why drinking unicorn blood is so horrible, I cannot bring myself to say it. Oh, and you will only listen to me and Hagrid but mostly me because this is my mission and I'm just using you guys as an excuse to enter the forbidden forest and destroy whoever is putting the unicorns in danger and for help with the search."

Hermione and Harry were still whispering furiously and appear quite frustrated with one another. My bad.

"Let's go!" I cried while skipping into the forest, arms linked with Jacob's and Charlotte's.

"We have enough people to split up so, Harry and Hermione you can go with Hagrid. Bestie and Neville can go together and my group is my group." I explained, "Send up red sparks if your in danger and green sparks if you find something useful. Questions? Good."

With that out of the way we set out into the forest but it wasn't long until we heard a shriek and saw the dreaded red sparks. I weaved through the trees flanked by my friends to find Neville and Bestie unharmed. With no evident sign of danger.

"BESTIE! WTF DID YOU DO?!"

His voice came out in a stutter, "I-It was j-just a j-j-joke,"

Moron.

Hagrid walked over to us with my brother and Hermione.

"NEW GROUPS! Harry you get to go with Bestie and Neville, you can go with Hagrid and Hermione."

While Harry seemed quite reluctant, Neville ran up to Hagrid and Hermione and wrapped them in a giant bear hug.

So once again we split up.

"doobey doobey dooh wah doobey doobey dooh wah AGENT C!"

"charlotte,"

"YEAH?!"

"SHUT IT!"

"Hm hmm hm hmm hm hmmmm-"

"no."

Charlotte pouted and searched the trees.

I kneeled down and scanned the forest floor.

Jacob whimpered, "Marissa, is it normal for unicorns to surround you?"

I looked up, "MEH ERNICERNS!" and went to hug the one in a waistcoat.

A fog rolled through the trees. And a voice resonated in my head, "Our brother has been killed and our sister injured, save us Protector."

"Okay."

"Then we shall mark you!"

"WHAT?!" I cried.

There was a stinging pain in my abdomen that forced me onto my back and I resisted the urge to puke.

Jacob rushed to my side and started shaking my shoulders. While Jacob was hysterical Lotte looked ready to hit someone, mainly Jacob.

"Guys I'm alright," I lied while standing up. Noticing the unicorns were gone I made a proclamation, "I'm gonna go get Harry and Bestie, you guys can get Hagrid Hermione and Neville so we can tell them we worked enough tonight." Looking up at their faces, I saw them frowning at me, "I won't take no as an answer. Scoot."

I used my twin senses to find them...

Okay, I heard Bestie scream- but I would have found them anyway.

I ran towards my idiot brother and saw the attacker. My scare burned as well now and I was never as sure as I was now.

That cloaked figure, leaning on top of a wounded unicorn was Voldemort.
