Chapter 13: Sparks Fly

Now that the two had settled their misunderstandings, they ventured into the basement below. One by one, they freed each woman from their prison. They were terrified at first. They couldn't believe it to be true, but when y/n opened the doors with Amore's key, the women rejoiced. They hugged, they cried, and they even danced with incredible happiness in their hearts to see their friends without any barriers in their way.

Sanji stood posted at the door on guard, leaning against the stone wall and watching as y/n continued to release the prisoners. He smiled as he watched y/n free her dear friend Bianca. They hugged each other tightly, crying into each other's shoulders. "She has such a big heart...what a brave woman..." He thought. What he was also trying to think about was a plan to get everyone out of there safely. It would be incredibly difficult to not get caught escaping on this Marine base. He also did not have his disguise anymore. He had to think of something though. Just looking at this place made him feel sick. "To think y/n was trapped in here for so long...how awful."

Y/n approached Sanji with Bianca by her side. "Sanji, this is Bianca. She's my closest friend!"

"Aaand the one that kept Lacy from going insane!" Bianca teased. She was suddenly interrupted by a certain gentleman taking ahold of her hand.

"It's such a pleasure to meet you! Any friend of y/n's is a friend of mine!~" He exclaimed with stars in his eyes. "You are so beautiful too!~"

Bianca blushed, "Oh my, aren't you a forward one!" She laughed.

"Tell me about it." Y/n rolled her eyes, but couldn't keep herself from smiling at Sanji and his kindness. "Now, I have an idea of how to get out of here."

Bianca placed her fingers between her lips and let a screeching whistle echo through the chamber. "Everybody listen up! Lacy is going to get us out of here, now pay attention!"

Y/n froze. She wasn't ready for this attention and pressure on her. "I, uh..."

Sanji then nudged her to get her attention and placed a hand on her shoulder. "C'mon pirate y/n." he warmingly smiled. "What's the plan?"

Just the sight of his eyes put her at ease. She gave a sincere smile back to him and put her game face on. "Alright! We have plenty of time still before the sun comes up, but before that happens, we need to sneak off this island without getting caught. To accomplish this, we need a huge distraction. I think everyone will agree with me here when I say, LET'S BURN THIS PLACE DOWN!"

Y/n's blood was pumping with adrenaline as she stood backstage. She paced back and forth waiting for Bianca's signal, fidgeting with her red scarves. She and the other dancers had dressed back into their show attire, and all prepared for the chaos that was about to ensue. Without Amore or Margoph around to stop them, the girls would put on a surprise pretend performance to keep the men's eyes on them. All the while, y/n, and Sanji would hide backstage and throw glass bottles of alcohol stolen from the bar. The two will wait for Bianca's signal, and then light the cloth stuffed in them with Sanji's lighter to put this place into an inferno. As the men struggle to escape and put out the fire, the ladies will escape out the back windows to their freedom with Bianca and Jewel leading them to the docks. 

Sanji chuckled seeing Y/n so nervous. Even though he thought it was adorable, he didn't want her to stay that way. He gathered himself and approached to attempt to comfort her. "It's going to be fine, y/n."
