Bees (Dark)

Buzzing bees fly through the flower patch,
Collecting the ingredients for their special batch.

They zip through the air like they're on a mission,
Just like the man trying to make his commission.

They go from plant to plant,
Without stopping to say "Hi" to the ants.

They return to the hive at the end of a long day,
Just to have their hard work swept away.

The bee keeper takes it to the market,
And the bees become a target.

Their hives ransacked,
Their honey never brought back.

The bees try to begin a new life,
Meeting a potential husband or wife.

Just for their life to be taken again,
At the hands of man.
