Isn't it silly? The snowy days where your whole body trembles in excitement and your eyelashes freeze off are the days you feel angry the most. January was such a sentimental and cold month, and in fact, the most boring and hated. And so, In the Satou household an argument was flaring between the two twins at the start of 2004. Both of them were at each other's throats, and no one could stop them because they were home alone.

"Give it up, Ryu! Just because you and Kojiro aren't together doesn't mean you're all alone!" [Y/n] glared at her brother, her blood boiling from what he had just said. They've had that same old argument for a long duration and it bottles up until it pours out every once in a while ever since Ryusei had been left behind by Hishi Kojiro.

The white haired boy clutched his sister's collar, reflecting her same glare before letting go and turning his back to her, to leave the room. "You don't know anything, sis. Just stop it, I don't want to fight anymore." The tone of his voice messaged pain and sadness and [Y/n] could tell. "Don't know anything?— We all grew up together, what the hell are you saying?!" She stepped closer and stopped him by gripping the back of his shirt.

Silence. Ryusei didn't reply and just kept facing the other way, as his twin pulled on his shirt; tears welling up in her eyes. "You don't have to be alone, Ryu. Why do you keep pushing everyone away like this? It's really painful for the both of us, so please stop!" He didn't answer and just turned around to focus on her, his eyes squinted and full of sorrow as he stared into her [e/c] ones. "You're so stubborn, why don't you just leave me alone, [N/n]..?" Ryusei's hair fell infront of his eyes as his jaw clenched, trying not to breakdown infront of his only and treasured sister.

"I can't. Even if I wanted to, I can't do that to you," The girl's voice cracked and she furrowed her eyebrows before looking at him strictly.
"You're my twin brother and I'll love you forever, you can't get rid of me."

His lips pursed and he closed his eyes before pulling her in for a hug, mumbling thank you's into her neck. "I'm sorry... I'm really sorry, I won't push you away anymore, okay?"

...

"Mom, I'm going out." It was two a.m and the [h/l] haired girl was up to no good. She made sure to wrap a scarf around her neck because the nights in april were freezing cold even if it was the end of it and May would start tomorrow — she didn't want to be an ice block by the time she'd come back home. Her feet rested comfortably in her black boots, and she shifted in place while looking back from the door.

Her mom called out to her in a worried voice, almost stumbling to the door. She was completely overwhelmed by what her daughter was saying, because even a crazy person wouldn't go out in the middle of the night. What if something bad happens to her at this hour? "What the hell, [Y/n]? Get back here this instant young lady, it's late!"
