"Thank you, come again!" A droning yet smooth voice cored in the midst of the convenience store, a familiar one in fact. Our lovely [Y/n] was behind the cashier, running it, having some uniform that viewed of a white button up shirt and an apron hugging it on,, whilst wearing pants to her liking because it wasn't part of the uniform. Her fumble form gave the customer a respectful bow before smiling politely.

The male customer gave her a smile and bid her farewell after taking hold of his plastic bag filled with various things he had brought. She waved goodbye before sluggishly letting her arms fall to her sides once the automatic glass doors had closed shut. She tucked a few loose strands of hair behind her ear as she rushed to restock a shelf.

Honestly, at her age— it shouldn't be possible to have a part-time job, but her twin brother had connections of which he had helped her get this job at the gas station easily. She wasn't allowed to run some things though; that was what her colleague was for. She doesn't work alone after all, so help was needed for obvious reasons.

"Hey, Keiji!— ...Did the afternoon shipment arrive yet?" The [h/c] haired girl shouted out not too harshly, but loud enough for the boy she worked with to hear.
A head peeked out of the canteen door, which eventually made an appearance; Goro Keiji, a boy with shoulder-length brown hair and red eyes who seemed to be around the age of sixteen, which was four years older than [Y/n].

A smile graced his lips and his eyes fluttered shut as he gave her an answer while walking towards the cigarette racks to organize some of it correctly... The boy is a perfectionist, to say the least. "Not yet, but it should be here in an hour or two." His gravely yet soft voice made a humming sound before he cleared his throat and his hands had reached out; stocking some cigarette packs into the upper rack.

The puff of air that had happened to breeze the spotless store made a shiver go down [Y/n]'s spine as she did her own work; putting some magazines in place and whatnot. Her mind was somewhat occupied with more than just work though; which Goro took notice of.

"...You seem to be drifting in thought, something bothering you, [Y/n]?
...School perhaps?" He questioned with an assumption, glancing over his shoulder to take a glimpse of the younger girl who was indeed lost in thought because she had stopped stocking the shelf with a zoned-out kind of expression.

[Y/n]'s lips parted in surprise once she had clicked back to reality,, a little disoriented because she forgot what she was doing before it occurred to her. "Not really, I'm just..." She crouched down, beginning to work on the mirroring of the shelves; moving the supplies that were less in one box into another, to empty the carton and take it out; throwing it in a trolley behind her.

"...just?" Goro trailed off, turning around to start cleaning the cashier's desk with a paper towel while a spraying cleaner was in his other hand.

Her perplexed facial expression made Goro raise an eyebrow yet he didn't question any further; waiting for her to reply if she wanted to. She had an eerie voice that held something unreadable, "I'm not sure..."
