Kolgod sat cross legged on top of a plateau. The camp was unfortunately raided once more, with our heroes being the only ones to survive, as it was a much smaller force that had snuck in instead of being a force. Kolgod and Blackie had awoken in the night, as well as 682 had, but they were playing board games in their barracks to pass the time while people were killed silently, right outside. The demons that had done it were part of a more elite force, no doubt ordered by Lucifer to do so. They had been too loud coming into Kolgod's barracks, which had been the only thing to save all 3 of them.

Ghypsy slept on Kolgod's left thigh while Blackie laid his head on his right, also sleeping comfortably. Kolgod had taken apart the Desert Eagle that was his service pistol. This one had black gold inlay, (Each member had a different inlay although they all had the same message), with silver coating and red gold lettering. Rin's had been the opposite way around.

He smiled and slowly put the pistol back together, making sure his original modifications for performance went back in precisely the right spot to do as intended. It was a pain, but he didn't mind it too much. It was something to do, to take his mind off of the current situation. It was a situation he despised, but also a situation they were unfortunate enough to be in. He slipped the pistol back into its holster, waking up the 2. "C'mon. Time to keep moving." Kolgod said, letting Ghypsy off before standing up and stretching his wings, arms, and legs. Ghypsy climbed up his back and into the pouch Kolgod had bolted to his bug out box (originally meant for easy access to magazines), her new collar a wonderful shade of black with dark green stripes, while Kolgod stretched out his wings and got ready to fly.

"Got their scent, boy?" He asked Blackie as he scratched behind the Dire Wolf's ears. Blackie replied with a simple and quiet "uff", panting and excited to find his friends.

"Good," Kolgod replied, smiling, "I'll be right above you so just run as fast as you want." He patted Blackie's back, giving Blackie the signal to run and the dog took off, nothing more than a black blur unless you watched from a distance. Kolgod laughed and took off himself, flying at an altitude of 100 feet and following Blackie. Ghypsy enjoyed the pouch, glad she wouldn't have to hold for dear life as they flew.

Tucker and John crested the hill, finally seeing the airbase. It was still about 4 hours walk away at the pace they were going, but they didn't mind. As they walked they could hear something in the distance but they were unsure what it was. After an hour of walking they heard it substantially closer, and turned around just in time to see Blackie jump up on and lick Tucker's face with his slobbery tongue. Tucker laughed and supported Blackie with his arms. "Hey buddy, good to see ya!" Tucker laughed.

John felt something land on the back of his tac vest and felt little claws dig in before crawling up and putting it's head next to his ear. "Hey John."

John smiled, replying. "Ghypsy. How have you guys been? I assume Kolgod isn't far behind?"

Ghypsy replied, "We've been doing good. Kolgod's abo- beside you." She changed words partway through the first as Kolgod landed next to John and laid an elbow on his shoulder, leaning on him.

"John."

"Kolgod."

"Mind explaining the missing BTR and why you don't have it with you right now?"

"We went after you, were attacked by Lucifer while refueling, and had to walk from then. Mind explaining why you left base?"

"Just going after Ghypsy and Blackie, I heard him howling. Came back after you guys were gone and then the base was attacked, albeit much more stealthily than before, probably conscripted by Lucifer. We're the only survivors."

"Well then."

"Yep."

Tucker cut in. "So do you wanna know where Rin is orrrrr...?" He pointed to the airfield.

Kolgod looked over there, and then looked back with a confused face. "That way?"

"We were saved by some aircraft. I think it's safe to assume that even if she isn't there we'll find people who know where she is. Friendly corrupted aircraft. Once we know where she is we can rearm and resup before moving out towards Rin and the Plague Doc."

"Well then what are y'all waiting for?! Let's get moving!"

Kolgod stood up straight and flared his wings.

Tucker replied, "We still need to get closer and make sure it hasn't been taken over by a hostile force. We've been walking for a week or so, anything could have happened.

Kolgod replied, "I don't care, let's get moving!!"

John sighed. "We need to be sure, or else we'll be walking into a trap."

Tucker cut in once more. "Shh! Do you hear that?"

They all opened their ears and could hear something approaching rapidly. They didn't have to wait long before a familiar voice could be made out. "Kolgod!" An excited voice screamed as Kolgod casually disappeared into a blur of red and black, getting swept away and off his feet by the wonderful woman they all knew as Rin.
