Unknown Officer: *speaks into his comms* Confirmed demonic entity, move in. This one seems stronger, eyes on a swivel. Angel 1-1, moving in. Angel 1-3, do you have a thermal view on the entity?
1-3: Negative, the hottest part of the home is upwards of 110 degrees.
1-1: Copy, radio to Angel 1-A to calibrate and radio in. Angel 1-1 and 1-2 will enter through front, Angel 1-4 through 1-10 go through the back. Capture only, do not terminate, repeat do not terminate.
1-3: Copy.
The officers move into the pitch black, lowering their NVG to make sure they can see, moving fluidly along the floor, as if they too were part of the shadows. The inky black of the house made it eerie, with even the NVG struggling to provide vision to their users.
Kolgod's voice echoes through the house. It came out with a growl that made it hard to understand.
Kolgod: Who are you? Why do you attack me? What are you?
1-1: *speaks into his comms* Keep it tight, don't let him know too much if you meet with him. *speaks out loud, normally* I'm the officer known as Angel 1-1. We are here to take you into custody and bring you to our... employer.
Kolgod: Holy ones? Or human? Your name is quite misleading to be sure.
1-1: Holy ones? Do you mean Angels? Gods?
Kolgod: I assume you are human then?
1-1: ..... To an extent I suppose that is true. I, along with Angel 1-2, are Einherjar.
Kolgod: Just you 2? I count 10.
1-1: 3 of us are Angels in the Christian sense, the 2 I have said, as you know, are of norse myth, 4 are truly human although cybernetics make them as good as any of us, and 1-10 is a Demon, like you.
1-10: *a female voice that comes over the radio* Kolgod. How've you been?
Kolgod: Ah, Rin. I remember you. Last time we spoke, if I remember correctly, you were attempting to cut off my head. Good times!
Rin: *laughter comes over the radio* I remember that vividly! I believe I was drunk at the time and you, dumb as you are, took my Vodka.
Kolgod: Of which you had already drank 19 bottles of. Had you had any more you would have had alcohol poisoning, and I would rather you not die, thank you very much.
Rin: Gee thanks, love you too. *sarcasm is obvious, but a hint of true happiness comes through as well*
Kolgod: Well if you'll excuse me I'm gonna start fighting your friends now and see if it's worth my time to come with you.
Rin: See ya in a bit.
Kolgod throws 1-2 against a wall, causing him to fall unconscious, and strikes 1-1 with a palm to the throat, his collapse and gasp for air giving Kolgod an opening to go to the other group. He quickly moves to 1-4, almost seeming to appear out of thin air and rams him with his shoulder, knocking him on his back. Quickly he moves behind 1-7 and 1-8, knocking their heads together, grabbing them by their arms, and throwing them into the rest except 1-10.
He snaps and turns the lights back on to see a relatively short imp, barely even 5' 1", holding a gargantuan LMG that's almost as long as she is tall. She sets it up on her shoulder, barrel pointed behind her, moving as if the 20 pound weapon - although with its bulk is much heavier and harder to wield - was no more than a small hunting rifle.
Her very short hair, shaved on the sides and back and brushed to the left, is incredibly black to the point that it shines green in the light. Her intelligent black eyes have a white iris that glows in contrast to the dark circles around them, and her skin has a teal color to it, her bodily structure the same as that of Kolgods, save for more feminine features.
Kolgod smirks and sits down on a couch with Rin, while the rest of the task force slowly recovers.
Rin: You look like crap.
Kolgod: And you look like you haven't slept, eaten, or had a drink other than alcohol in days. Do I need to join just to shove food down your throat?
Rin: *laughs, her tired voice still incredibly pure and light* You're not really wrong with that. I wouldn't mind if you did join. Satan knows I need someone to do it if nobody else will. Humans are apparently quite scared to put their hand into a mouth that resembles that of a shark.
Kolgod chuckles at this and smiles warmly, the emotions he always had with his best friend returning to him in a massive rush along with all the memories he had with her.
The smell of her perfume as he carries her to her house mingling with the scent of rum on her breath.
The joyous laughter of the 2 as they watch old comedies and memes on HumanTube (the hell variant of YouTube since they weren't allowed to make videos of their own).
Running from what little law enforcement existed in hell after stealing from the palace.
Even back to when they were small and young, protecting their friends from those who would seek to harm them, and sleeping under the Blood Trees after running through the Needle Grass together, which, while it hurts the souls who are forced to reside there, it's as harmless to Demons as Crabgrass is to humans.
Kolgod: What happened to us?
Rin: *shrugs and looks down* You... You left. There was a body hung outside the palace one morning and I thought it was just another body.... We were told that you had turned traitor and been executed later that day. I grieved, but not for you... I grieved because I thought all of our memories had been faked. I thought it was all fake.
