I slept for two hours, until Maddie knocked on my door, half an hour before three in the morning. After I grabbed my suitcase and apologized to Chaeryeong for waking her up, I let Maddie approach the elevator.

"This is going to be so much fun now that you're coming too, cute frosh."

"Why?"

She shrugged.

"I don't know, I just have this feeling. It's going to be great. We'll arrive a day before the actual game, and the first night there will be a charity event at the hotel, where both teams will participate."

"What charity event?"

"Basically, they're auctioning off a date with each team's cheerleaders for the night."

"What does that mean?"

"It means people are going to put up money for a date."

"A date with me? But that's...is it safe?

She nodded.

"We did it last year too! We raised eight green!"

"Holy shit!"

"The biggest bet was on me, of course. Seven hundred. It was a guy, I don't remember his name, but he took me on a boat and it was great. Awesome food. Now, don't look so scared, everything will be fine. They're not going to have sex with you if you don't want to. It's a date."

"What if I don't want to?"

"Then you're off the team, sorry. I don't make the rules."

We arrived at the meeting point in no time, and a large bus for fifty people was already waiting for us. We dropped our bags and climbed in, looking for a place to sit.

"Yo, Maddie! I saved you a seat!" Bryan shouted and patted the two seats in front of him.

Yeji, Zayn, Bryan, Josh and Ryan were in the back, where the five seats were next to each other.

We sat in the saved seat and I knew it was going to be an exhausting ride from the moment Yeji pulled my hair. I tried to ignore the fact that Yeji had dyed her hair orange again, and ignore the fact that she was making it very difficult for me to contain myself.

"So, who's going to be in the fraternity house?" I asked.

"The pledges."

The thirty-minute bus ride to the airport was filled with small talk and sexual innuendo. We arrived at the airport an hour before takeoff. Of course, everything was complete chaos: someone couldn't find his luggage, Yeji's cap went missing and Zayn wasn't allowed to smoke inside the airport, which made him really frustrated. And the chaos continued, that is, until the coach got tired and blew the whistle, climbing on a nearby chair, making everyone shut up.

"LISTEN!!! I want everyone to shut the hell up and listen! No time for your prepubescent dramas and irrelevant problems! The plane will be leaving in exactly thirty minutes, which means we all have to get off our asses to the security gates. I don't want to hear any of you complaining. There are twelve of us and forty-five of you. You will be seated in pairs of three, in alphabetical order. There are three extremely easy rules to follow. ONE. Do not set fire to the plane. TWO, No using cell phones or other electronic devices that need a signal to function. THREE. No sex in the bathrooms with your teammates, cheerleaders or stewardesses! And yes, Hwang, I'm looking at you."

Yeji laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm going to read your groups out loud and each of you will come and pick up your tickets. Put your hand down, Hwang, you never have smart questions."
