y/n pov:

it's been a few years since i've talked to vada. i wanna know how she doing but at the same time i don't. i just wanna make sure she's ok. i've heard that quinton has cheated on ever girl he's dated, and i tried to tell her but she wouldn't listen. i guess she thought i was jealous of him. but ever since the day at the park and when mia kissed me she said she did that cause she liked me at the time. well i realized that i could never had vada so i chose mia, not like she's a second choice. but she was at first but then i actually fell in love with her. and ever since the day we started dating we've become inseparable.

i'm sitting in the living room with her and i hear the door bell ring. "did you invite someone over?" i asked mia. "nope, i wanted to spend time with just you." you blushed a little bit and kissed her forehead. you then got up to get the door.

vada's pov

i'm standing at y/n's door right now, and i'm ngl i'm nervous asf. we haven't talked in a while, ever since she told me quinton was gonna cheat on me; i wished i believed her. quinton has been acting weird for the past few months so i confronted him about it and he said it's because he's been cheating on me.

when y/n open the door she was surprised, you could tell by the look on her face. "oh, hi vada. what are you doing here?" i noticed she looked way different than she did when we last saw each other. that's when i heard: "babe who is it?" i know that voice but i don't know who it is if that makes sense.

"yea it's just vada. she's been stand here like a statue ever since i opened the door." and when y/n said that i realized i had been just standing there. "hi" and then i explain what has happened for the past months to both of them after they let me in. it was really hard not to break down in front of them but i almost did it. key word: almost, they were both talking to me trying to cheer me up and they offered a room in their apartment.

when mia went out to get food, i said "soo, you and mia huh?" while raising my eyebrows. she started laughing and told me how it happened and im happy that she got into a relationship with someone she loves but im starting to realize that i miss out on a kind, caring, honest, beautiful girl like y/n but her and mia are happy so why try and break them up...
