They sat giggling for hours, learning more about each other as the afternoon went on, until the light around them began to fade.

"I guess I should go." Brett said, reluctantly.

"Oh, well, I suppose..." Dan replied in a whisper, before asking hopefully, "We could always chill at mine?"

"Yeah! That's a great idea!" Brett smiled. "How far away do you live?"

Dan shuffled so they were sat side-by-side, pointing to a row of houses opposite. "You see that one?" He asked, softly, staring into his eyes.

"Yeah..." Brett said, so quiet than Dan could only just hear him.

He was gazing into his eyes, not really looking to where Dan was pointing anymore. Dan dropped his arm, placing in on Brett's lower back, pulling him closer. He leaned forward simultaneously with Brett and soon enough, their lips were touching. Brett moved his arms to Dans neck, kissing him back harder.

Dan stopped, stood up and began to walk slowly away. Brett looked at him, confused.

Did he do something wrong? Dan turned to face him, all Brett could see was his silhouette but he made out a faint smirk on his face.

"You coming then?" He asked, giggling at Brett's shocked expression.

"I hate you!" Brett laughed, getting up and chasing him through the park.

"I love you too!" He called over his shoulder, slowing down. "Oh, hurry up!" He shouted seconds later, to the silhouette in the distance.
