It must have been at least 2am when Brett fell asleep, Dan was still wide awake.
Brett's head was in his lap and he was gently running his fingers through his hair.
'How can I love a guy I've only just met?' He thought to himself.
Brett groaned, turning over to face Dan. He opened one eye, looking up at Dan.
"Go to sleep." He whispered, huskily.
"Okay." Dan whispered back.
"I love you." As he said it, he knew it was true. He may have only known him a few hours but it was perfect. But was it?
"I love you too." Brett said, groggily sitting up, and kissing on him on the cheek.
With that, Brett went back to sleep, and soon after Dan joined him too.
He could sleep knowing Brett loved him.
He could sleep knowing everything really was perfect.
