Hiccup was clutching his axe close to his chest as he witnessed Astrid launch her axe towards the Deadly Nadder only for it to be deflected by using its horn on the end of its snout causing Astrid to dive away to retrieve her discarded weapon. The dragon's attention soon landed upon Hiccup as it charges towards him ready to strike. When the dragon got into close proximity Hiccup had immediate ditched his weapon to prove he wasn't a threat, this caused the Nadder to turn its head to the side giving it a clear view of the now defenceless Viking as it gave out what sounded like a confused like noise.

During this moment of distraction, Astrid had reentered the fight after losing her weapon moments ago. She made herself known as she gave out a Viking like scream whilst charging towards the two weapon raised and poised to strike. Hiccup quickly took action and began to scratch the Deadly Nadder until he had found that he had also found on Toothless causing it to collapse onto the ground. Astrid looked confused at what she had just witnessed as even she couldn't explain as to what had just occurred.

Later on that evening within the Great Hall, Hiccup had arrived and managed to retrieve a plate of chicken and a drink before taking his seat on a nearby empty table. Seeing his brother sitting alone Y/n had gotten up to go and eat with his brother only for a swarm of Vikings along with the twins, Fishlegs and Snotlout to surround Hiccup like a celebrity. Upon further glance he noticed that Astrid had become more frustrated towards the younger Haddock and slammed her drink down onto the table, not wanting to cause any problems with either of the two Y/n had decided to quietly leave the Great Hall and go home.
